Scooter’s Coffee House

So, my wife is pretty much addicted to Scooter’s mocha blenders, so we stop by many of the local Scooters several times a week. The products taste about the same no matter where we go, but I’ve noticed a tremendous difference in quality of service depending on which Scooter’s we visit.
This one, on Capehart Road is BY FAR the best of them all in the local area. The people taking the orders always seem to get it right and the people at the window are always very friendly, professional, and cheerful. And they get our orders correct without having to ask again when we get to the window. I don’t think we’ve ever gotten an incorrect order here.
I also really appreciate how they support the local military and retired community.

Owners treat staff terribly. It shows in the product and service.

At this scooters, it’s kind of a «hit or miss» situation as to whether or not I get the coffee I ordered. When I order in the drive thru, I always make them repeat back my order. Sometimes, when I get to the window I ask them «is this sugar free with skim milk?» Sometimes they say yes, sometimes they say no. I don’t really get it, especially if they repeated back my order at the order window. Usually though, if the order is right, it tastes great. If not, I don’t drink it, but I don’t complain. They always seem like their in a rush.
