For My sisters 21st birthday we got a table here and it was the best experiamce’! The Dj «DJ Murphone» was amazing and our server Alicia wa on top of her game making sure we all had a fantastic time! She served us with a smile all night and made drinks that were fantastic. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate my sisters birthday then with the axing service we got here! I will be back more often then not

Yikes! The crowd looks like an 18 and under crowd, shameless, belligerent, and sloppy. Dress code is out the window, people are in sneakers and t-shirts. People were getting escorted out left and right. Definitely does not reflect what you would expect for Bellevue or any 21+ club at that! It’s comedy. I would stick to hanging out at the bar/lounges in the square.

Last night was the first time I had been back to this place since it became Mirror. I must say that everything is pretty similar, except for the name and the addition of several mirrors inside the club now. What really stuck out to me was the music! It was SO good. I can’t remember what they used to play, but they had some really great mixes featuring the usual Top 40’s but a lot of the more popular house/electronica music too. I was pretty impressed! Hennessey also happened to be promoting there last night too so the girls gave out drink coupons and yellow sunglasses to the guests. The drinks are pretty good, and the bartenders are efficient, at least on the side that’s closer to the parking lot. I’m not sure if it was because of the birthday party, but the two sides of the club were really different in terms of crowds, but still pretty mixed. It’s a bit different than the crowds you’d see at Pnk, but still similar too. I would definitely come back for a birthday party or something because 1) great thing about partying in Bellevue is free parking, 2) no cover if you’re on the guest list, and 3) it’s a really hip, pretty club!

NOTIMPRESSED. I’m mad that I wasted good make up and gas driving over the bridge to attempt to come to Mirror on a Saturday night. They always tell you to «get there early», so i showed up just before 10pm. Thankfully there wasn’t a cover. it was DEAD inside. maybe 20 people, if that. And some cover band was on stage playing cheesy songs. I should have realized that it was connected to Munchbar and gone around the corner for a drink. That’s where all the action was. If a club can’t get a decent crowd by 10pm, I don’t really bother with them anymore. Maybe Friday’s are the night that they shine, but i’m not wasting the gas to find out again. Also, when it came time to pay tabs, the bartender charged my friend for 2 beers when he only had one.

Pretty lame lounge. Went there with a friends for dance music and nothing but a mediocre funk band was playing. The bartenders also seemed more interested in socializing with each other than tending bar. In fact, I had only ordered a SINGLE Ninkasi, and was ready to leave when I just happened to glance at my bill and noticed I was being charged for two! I mentioned it to the guy, and he went to correct it but had to ask what I had again… really? There were four people at the bar, including myself, and you can’t remember what I JUST told you(or even bother to look at the receipt you just crumpled and threw out)? But I can give the single bartender a pass and assume he was new(to bartending/serving itself). Overall though, I’d have expected better, and HAVE experienced better. :-/

Why do Asian people love this place so much? I’m talking, there were at least 90% Asians when I came here Friday. UGH. Yes, I hate that. I am too into diverse crowds. I love going to places where I see other races other than my own. I came here for a friend’s birthday. I honestly was NOT going, but said, EFF it and came. We hear there are TERRIBLE lines. Lines so long, it’s ridiculous. And truth be told, the lines are freakin’ crazy. I would NEVER line up for a club with that long of a line. I don’t care who or what or where it is. We arrived late, around 11:30 i think. I see plenty of friends I know, so we try to get in with them. The line is over 30 feet long. At least 100 feet. No joke. We don’t get in with our 2 attempts, so we go wait in line. After a few minutes, we see other girls we know and bam! We get in. Yay! We had to pay $ 10 cover as it was after the time. So we paid, got stamped and started exploring. The entrance has a lot of room and areas for the«VIP» reserved areas. It’s not that bad. It’s fairly nice with fancy décor. One of the reserved areas is like on a platform. Not too bad but dangerous when you’re drunk. There are chairs/seats everywhere so it’s not bad. Surprisingly, the drinks weren’t that bad, price and taste. I have had bomb vegas bombs here. They were $ 10 a shot, but worth it since it only took me 5 shots to get drunk! During crazy busy times, the main bar is no joke, takes forever to order a freakin’ drink. We waited 30 minutes to order a freakin’ drink. I was livid. Around the corner connected to the other place is the bathroom, and the other side. This smaller side, or the main dance floor I guess is packed. Hard to move, lots of people dancing and standing, with the DJ there too. This bar is less packed but drinks aren’t as good as the other side. This is odd to me though. Because the booths or reserved spaces are in the main entrance but there’s less people there. Nobody dances around there except for the parties that have it reserved. Majority of the people, about 75% of the crowd is in the smaller cramped room with the DJ. Their music was okay, not bad. I think that it was good for the time I was there, but I don’t remember the middle parts, haha. I don’t really like the crowd. This place is just like PNK’s, filled with 90% Asian, and 10% White, Black, Hispanic and others. Not really my cup of tea. Drinks were good though. Must know people in order to get in free or get in without waiting in line. It’s very much who you know and when to use that privilege. Apparently though, this is the new spot. But thanks for the one night, I hope this is my first and last. I can’t stand the crowd. Majority of Asians are stuck up. Oh, and this guy tried to fight me. We almost went at it, until police showed up. Oh well. *shrugs* bottoms up!

Okay, went here last Friday night for Bazaar Fridays. Since everyone & their mother go to Pnk on Fridays my girl & I decided to go somewhere different. We heard that they re-did crappy Munchbar(See my lovely review of that place) & also made the club bigger by expanding into the next door which apparently was a piano bar of some sort. We were on the list but we ran late so we didn’t get to the front of the line until 1145ish but we still got in for free ;] The décor was soooooo FAB. Mirrors everywhere(hence the name of the club) & they had so much seating everywhere besides the booths which is a rarity when you’re talking about club-wise. Usually you only get to sit down when you have a booth. So that was a PLUS! They have 2 bars which are both accomodating when it came to getting drinks. Not too long of a wait for a Friday night. [= When it was Munchbar the bathroom sinks were so hard the nozzle where the water comes out of & they went as far & ghetto to put little post-it notes with handwritten«Soap & Water» on it but they made it legit by having actual signs. lol. The crowd is suuuuper diverse. Pnk is so Asian Avenue on Friday nights. Here, it was really mixed, I liked it. All in all, I think I have found my birthday spot ;] Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Apparently this place was a dueling piano bar. I wouldn’t know. The only time I came here was last night(Friday night). And it was packed — in a good way. A fairly diverse crowd, decent bar, interesting theme of mugshots on the screens. And yes, indeed, mirrors! We did our due diligence as usual and 1) got on the guestlist 2) got in before 11:00pm. This means no cover and easy admittance. Done and done! There are two parts to this place. The first area, the part where you walk into first, is more of a lounge, «casual» dancing type place. A bit empty but pretty laid back. The second part, past the bathrooms and some booths, is the«club» part… a little more open with a couple VIP booths. There was a lot of dancing and decent music all around. I disagree with some people saying that the crowd here is snobby/stuck-up. I did not sense that ATALL. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. There were all races, all backgrounds, and all types it seems. Everyone was happily dancing and having a good time — I appreciated that :) It’s a pretty clean place with decent staff. The décor is pretty modern, though it’s not«Hollywood» nice but for Bellevue, not bad — really! Though, I do wish the floor wasn’t wet and sticky all the time… I suppose it’s hard to mop up after a bunch of drunk or dancing people though, haha. Yes I would come back on a busy night :)

Such a shame. Such a damn shame. This place was once the«Piano Bash”/“Munchbar» combination and was absolutely awesome. Likely a management switch has ruined what was fantastic. Mirror Ultra Lounge reminds me of that one guy who comes to a house party dressed in a suit and wearing $ 2000 jewelry. You know that he’s a turd… but he’s a polished turd. Positives: — It’s a clean and ‘swanky’ atmosphere. If you are counting«Munchbar» as part of this, the place is spacious, not the typical ‘cramped’ spaces you become accustomed too in Washington. — Surprisingly, the bodyguard staff are actually really nice folks that do a really good job. They keep things orderly, but don’t give off that«I’m superior to you» attitude like most. These are REAL professionals and make you feel at ease and welcomed. Negatives — Insanely pricey cover charge. A cover charge… for a bar… that I’m going to buy pricey beer and drinks at. Just a tip from me, based on my experiences in New York, Canada, Puerto Rico, etc. — if you’re going to charge an insane cover like $ 10 per head, do one of two things(1) Make it worth it.(2) Make that $ 10 count towards the bar. Many bars have a cover to ensure that people buy product. One very successful bar in New York has a cover of $ 20, but it’s more of a down-payment You pay $ 20, but get a ‘chip’ that lets you start a $ 20 tab on the bar, which basically means you’re getting your consumers to drink or eat what you serve. — Bartenders aren’t very friendly. When this place was the«Piano Bash», the staff was super friendly. Nowadays, the wait and bartender staff are pretty cold. In fact, our waitress didn’t even come back to give us our bill. We could’ve walked out… and likely should have… but decided to go to HER and get it after waiting, no joke, 30 minutes. I would totally understand if they were under-staffed, but they had ALOT of folks on the floor. This girl was completely un-interested in us and more interested in serving what, were likely, her friends. I’m pretty relaxed when it comes to wait staff(as those close to me have done it, and I know what a stressful job it can be), but this was even testing my patience.

This place is WIERD. My sister and I were bar hopping the other night and came in here thinking it was a piano bar… There is a sign outside on the street saying piano bar… There was NO piano in the place! We show up, and they have ropes with a girl at the door. We asked if there was someone playing the piano tonight. She said«I don’t know they don’t tell me.» Then we asked if there was a cover to get in and she said that no there was not because it was«ladies night.» So she let us in. We walked in and the place was DEAD… No joke. There were maybe 8 other people in the WHOLE place. We walked up to the bar and each ordered a drink. They have some really cool couches and chairs so we went to find a better place to sit. The whole time we sat there we were thinking we were in the Twilight Zone… I mean it was wierd. LOL! The bartender did come over and pour us cotton candy martinis(yuck) on the house which was a nice touch… But not nice enough to ever come back. Expensive Drinks + Nobody There + Creepy Vibe = We won’t be back!

Bellevue is suppose to be a place of class & a fun atmosphere. NO. None of that at all. My friend was chillin on one of those nice couches & people were throwing napkins at him. WTF?! Long ass lines even when you get there early. Security obviously don’t know what they’re doing. Nope, never again.
