The owners are always so welcoming and great food !

The best Teriyaki I’ve had in Bellevue. I especially recommend the Chicken Katsu. Something for everyone, even if you aren’t a Teriyaki lover. Fast and friendly service.

I have been going to this place since I’ve lived in Bellevue. I always order the Garlic chicken. The owners always know my orders anytime I come in and they always give me extra pieces. With the renovations and although they increased their prices a bit it’s still good and whenever I’m in the area I always have to stop by here. So delish!

I love this place! Dan and his mom always recognize my husband and I, and they both know what kind of bubble tea we like to drink! And the spicy chicken teriyaki is spicy enough for my husband to where he doesn’t put more siracha sauce on it!

Delicious food! I’ve had both the Teriyaki and Spicy Teriyaki and spicy is definitely the way to go. The woman behind the counter is incredibly sweet and sincere with the service they provide. Can’t wait to dine at this establishment again!

Even with the new name and modern renovations, the atmosphere and owners are always welcoming. Prices went up just a few dollars but worth the cost for garlic chicken extra pieces fresh out of the fryer. After not bein able to visit the owner still know our special order

Wow, we have a winner of a teriyaki restaurant here. It’s as if Yeh Yeh’s Vietnamese Sandwiches, Maki Teriyaki, and Café Ori have all come together to form a trio of fantastic Asian restaurants in this strip mall. Seriously can’t go wrong here, and Asian Food Center is just on the other side of this parking lot. This is an awesome little area. Part of the reason(okay, a huge part of the reason) this place deserves repeated visits is that the prices are actually modest and you can get almost anything for under ten dollars. The store itself is not that big, but the size works for an unassuming restaurant like this. Service is fast, and they even bring you a bowl of miso soup before whatever you ordered. The salad they provide you consists of actual lettuce and not that runny coleslaw stuff that I hate at a lot of teriyaki places. Finally, one dish is enough to fill your stomach for a meal, and that’s saying a lot coming from a big eater like me.

Those garlic wings A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Thankful I don’t live or work closer, I would have them daily.

Definitely not the worst teriyaki I’ve ever had, but I won’t be rushing back either. Chicken wings were very salty. Appeared to be a few regulars who came in while we ate, they ordered a pork dish. perhaps that’s the way to go? Gyoza tasted like the frozen kind. overall, just kinda meh!

Incredibly friendly people, excellent teriyaki and gyoza, and reasonable prices. I’ll return to try some of the other menu items.

Ok, but really nothing special. My kids and I tried 4 different things including the allegedly exciting chicken wings. I do appreciate that they make the wings to order, but they are pretty bland and greasy. The owners were very friendly. I’d hit it if I were in that particular strip mall and wanted teriyaki otherwise, not.

Best rated«dinner restaurant» near Goodwill, whaat? So I gave it a shot. The chicken katsu was on the dry side. And about half of what I can get at my neighborhood teriyaki shop. The mushroom and chicken special, however, was very tasty. He sauteed mushrooms with teriyaki chicken and made it peppery. It was juicy and flavorful. So much better than the katsu. Probably wouldn’t return because it’s not in my area but I’m sure you can find something you like from their rather extensive menu(read: specials all over the wall surrounding the counter). Complimentary miso soup, self serve hot tea and water, and nice interior/ambience sets Maki apart from other teriyaki joints.

I can’t figure out why this place isn’t busier… the food is great, it has a great location, and while you eat here the nice lady from the kitchen comes by and asks how you like her cooking! That is what family owned is all about, I really like this place.

The food is fantastic. The service is awesome, super clean. Only thing that could potentially be a 4 star is serving size. It’s a tad on the small size in comparison.

Nice little hole in the wall joint near the Ross store in Bellevue. I only come here to get the famous garlic chicken wings combo, which are so bomb! Yum! You can also modify your order — I got 1 scoop of rice and extra salad(trying to cut back on rice & carbs!). They also have free water & hot tea, or soda that you can purchase. It’s clean and the girl taking our order was really nice. We also got miso soup as an appetizer before our meal.

I came here for a quick lunch break. Once I walked in I realized, I actually wasn’t in the mood for Teriyaki but since I was already there I figured I would order something else. I got the garlic chicken wings and they were really crispy(who doesn’t love a good, crispy wing!). The garlic flavor was good but they were very strong and I had the garlic after taste for hours. :(This was one of those cases of enjoying the food while you eat it but not so much afterwards. The people there were very friendly and the prices were good. I would come back but I don’t know if I’d get the garlic wings again.

Delicious and super friendly little spot in a strip mall in NE Bellevue. The spicy chicken terriyaki was fantastic as were the garlic chicken wings! They even gave me an extra wing without me asking because they explained that they looked kind of small(I didn’t think so). I will be back to try more of this menu. Highly recommended!

I’m always on the prowl to find good eats! One of the women in my office recommended this place to me. The place is somewhat small, but typical of most teriyaki shops. I had the garlic chicken wings. Nothing like deep fried chicken wings! Juicy chicken with a great crust. Not tempura crust but a nice batter with garlic flavoring. Dip it in Sriracha(I have a bottle in my desk) and you’re in heaven(just wiped a little bit of drool off my chin thinking about it). Oh yeah, the portion for this was huge. Besides the wings you get a salad and 2 scoops of rice. Salad was so-so, but who cares. I had garlic chicken wings! Price was great for the size of the meal. I could have saved half for the next day, but couldn’t stop eating. I highly recommend this place!

I was glad to find that the owners of this store are actually the sons of the previous owners of Toraya Teriyaki! They gave the menu and the cooking style a completely different spin from the previous store however — which is good. The store is clean and they furnished the place with more modern furniture. I had the regular teriyaki while my boyfriend got the katsu chicken & beef combo. To start, they gave us a bowl of soup that seemed to be their take on a hot & sour soup. The teriyaki and beef was great! Prices are similar to other teriyaki places around Bellevue. The service is fast and friendly. You’ll be glad to hear that they kept their parents’ famous garlic chicken! The cost is $ 0.69/piece. Still tastes DELICIOUS(& heart-stopping)! Worth a try!
