Told me I had a certain elevated level of a hormone. and needed to start taking a new medicine. The medication made me soooo sick! I called to tell him and he said to keep taking it… I stopped, as it made me so sick. I later went to another Dr. who said my level of the hormone was only a teensy tinch above normal and NO need for any medication. I think Dr. McGee was trying to earn«points» with the drug manufacturer to go to Hawaii or somewhere by prescribing the new med as much as he could.

The most uncaring nurse(or whatever she is) named Keelie and doctor(Dr. Hamilton) I’ve ever seen! I wasn’t a patient but I was WITH the patient, who’s friend of mine, and he says he’s not going back. All their staff’s demeanor since you cross the office’s doorstep is very«you are not welcomed here» type. Then, always skeptical Dr. Hamilton. It’s like you begin to feel guilty that you have diabetes, because the way they treat you in there.

He refused to examine me after asking what was my chief complaint(which was on the diabetic side of endocrinology). I insisted he examine me, and he kept refusing until I got mad. And then he found out I had TWO life threatening problems that was his specialty. This required two different imaging’s. He insisted on scheduling one, then a return visit, then scheduling the 2nd. He should have scheduled both imaging’s before a return to him. Most MDs say he does this to get more visits, personally I think it’s because of he suffers from Asperger’s syndrome. He has the worst bed side manor of any of the 100MD’s I’ve seen. I told him I do web security at MS. He wrote in his chart«Patient is a security guard at Microsoft». He treated me like I was retarded.

I went to both Dr.‘s at this location and you would think that an endocrologist since that is their whole world would have some answers on how to shrink a nodule on ones thyroid. After 6 years of going too them they just said eventually it would get so big that I would have to have it removed. Since I was not getting any answers there i went on my own quest and finally found something that was able to shrink my nodule holistically. On other visits there with both Dr’s on different 4 different visits, took a needle aspiration and didn’t’ get enough samples so I had to come back and do it again for a total of 4 visits. More recently I booked the appointment a year ahead and they called my home phone and left a message to remind me of the apt., and I didn’t’ get that message because I don’t check my home phone voice mail often. So they never heard back from me confirming the apt. The day of the apt. they decided to call my cell phone to let me know I missed the appt and then they proceeded to charge me $ 75 for that half hour apt. I called to see if the receptionist could talk to the Dr. to see there is anything they could do to reduce that fee. They said no and that if I did not pay it they would take it to collections, and that it was written into the document I signed with them. Nice customer service. I told them apparently they don’t care about losing a client. I’m very disappointed in their overall approach from knowing their profession to handling their overall customer service. I will never go back!
