This hotel is the worst one I’ve stayed in… and that includes motels. It’s really due to the lack of accommodation and professionalism. We reserved the room for the weekend online and received a confirmation email. I can understand the problem with an online system and miscommunication but… When we get to the hotel, the night guy, Don, did not find us in the system. Instead of trying to help us, he kept repeating that he did not have us in the system and that’s all he could do. He then did not bother to do anything else until we stood there for a while, telling him that we have a reservation. Don claimed to not have the room available and finally after more polite inquiry, he checked via his manager and found that our room did exist for us. He didn’t attempt to offer us another room or talk to us about other options. He honestly was waiting for us to just leave even though we already paid for a room. When I’d ask about the other rooms, Don would just be nonchalant and dismissive about them. Throughout, he was pretty much your typical asshole. He was later«apologetic» but it didn’t seem genuine. Aside from pretty shitty service, don’t expect your rooms to be too nice. The theme rooms are pretty gimmicky and the«whirlpool» is pretty drab. The room also has a crappy tube TV, but it’s not a big deal since it’s a pretty old hotel. Breakfast is ok with a waffle maker, so that’s cool. Your other choices are hardboiled eggs, french toast, bacon, cereal, coffee, and juice. Not bad. The pool is indoor and looks fine. I didn’t take a dip, but it seemed like others enjoyed it.

This place was alright. I stayed only one night since I was traveling through– Had to switch rooms from the original room since there was a odd smell coming down from the hallway even though it’s a smoke-free Inn. It was a bit run down as well and reminds me of the rooms back in the late 80s early 90s.
