Char Stylin Salon

Char is an excellent hair stylist. She totally gets me and my funkiness. I shared with her what I was looking for an she pulled it off perfectly! She gave me a super cute asymmetrical haircut with a beautiful fiery red that is still as vibrant as it was almost a month ago, when she first put it in.
Her prices are totally reasonable, her salon is adorable and really convenient to get to with lots of parking across the street.
I highly recommend going to Char for your next haircut, no matter what you’re looking for. :)

The first time I came here, I was very satisfied. The whole thing seemed rushed, but I left with a nice haircut. The second time, after she was finished cutting my hair and blow drying it, she said she was done. I have never had my hair cut and not straightened/​styled afterwards. It was very odd, but I didn’t want to say anything since the situation was awkward. I’m not sure if she was extremely rushed or what.

I am very disappointed. I checked Unilocal’s review and went to this salon. I had asked for a trimming of the ends of my waist length hair as i was having split ends. In the process i told her if she could give me some layers as well. The end result was the split ends are still there. My hair looks very thin with almost no volume. And I paid total $ 52. I am very very disappointed.

In few words, Char is awesome! Great job, great prices, great attitude and great work place! Char took me from very dark hair to the perfect looking blonde for me. Not to mention the hair cut which framed my face and gave a very healthy and fashionable look.

Char is very fun and does a fabulous job on my hair. I went in for highlights around thanksgiving and people asked if I had just gotten my hair done up until february. Highly recomended

Char is wonderful. I just moved to Washington and was looking for someone to do my color cut and style. I color my hair red and so I was nervous to find someone who would match my color. Char did an excellent job matching my color. She gets you in and out fairly quickly while taking great care with the cut. I was so happy when I left. Love my color and especially the cut. I will be going back to her. Her prices are very reasonable too.

She is very talented. I get so many compliments about my layers :). She is very affordable and offer a great consultation. I highly recommend her!

Char was amazing! I was looking for a 5 star salon, and boy was I pleased. I found Char on Unilocal and I’m so happy I did. In addition to her high ratings, her salon is a true gem, tucked away on Bel Red. She even stays open later than other salons which is a huge convenience as I rush out of work at 6pm. She was gracious enough to get me in quickly, and captured the hairstyle I wanted on the spot. She was so friendly, cheerful and talented at what she does. She absolutely took care of me, and now I have an beautiful angled bob that is getting such rave reviews.

Char owns a beautiful salon tucked under a small building in Bellevue. She was able to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning at very short notice which I SO appreciated! She’s been doing hair for over 30 years and obviously did a great job with mine :)
She is also completely affordable; my hair is very long, and I was only charged $ 40 for a wash, cut, and style. How can this be?! because she’s so efficient she could finish in 30 minutes!

Char was excellent! Great service and she is super sweet. I was in desperate need of getting my hair straighten (I have super curly hair) and I gave her call and she penciled me in right away. My hair now looks fantastic for my Halloween party. (:

I received some great color today! I enjoyed being in a more personal setting rather than the usual bustle of busy, traditional salons. Her place is gorgeous, and it was nice not having to talk over 5 other blow dryers and clients. I came in with some post-​bad-​perm hair, which was in some serious need of luster and an all-​around boost. The new shade looks fantastic, and Cher was great to talk to during the treatment. She also had some more ideas to undo what the last hairdresser did. I’ll probably be taking her up on that in a few months. I definitely recommend her expertise. It was a refreshing change from what I’m used to at salons, and I’m glad I checked out her Unilocal reviews. I drove 90 minutes to see her, and I’ll be seeing her from now on.

I have to say that I am so pleased with Char!
When I arrived, there was plenty of parking space available which makes for a stress free visit! The Salon is super cute, calming and clean.
Not only did she stay late for me, She did a great job with my hair. I have had a lot of damage done to my hair by other hair stylists and myself and she completely restored it! She lightened it and put some color back in and gave me a great haircut to top it off. She was very friendly and had some great tips for keeping my hair healthy. I will definitely be recommending her to all my friends and continue to visit her!

Char is hands down the best hair dresser I know. I have been getting my hair done by her for over 12 years and would not trust anyone else to color my hair. Even after I moved to Eastern Washington, I still squeeze in appointments with her whenever I am in the Bellevue area. She gives great cuts and also is great at foiling and coloring. The best part is that she is much more reasonably priced than other boutique salons in the area. I have referred friends to her and they all have been equally as pleased as I have.
Bottom line is that Char is a great hair dresser and also a great person to work with. If you are looking for a hair dresser in the Bellevue/​Kirkland area, definitely give Char a try!

I am so happy working with Char! She has years of experience, and has made very good suggestions for my hair. I continue to get compliments on her haircuts even the last one was more than 6 weeks ago, so her cuts have continued to work well as my hair grows. Char also does color work, and has been excellent at color matching. She is happy to schedule with text messages as well as phone calls, so it has been so easy to schedule with her. Her prices are very affordable, and she’s able to work quickly, yet with great confidence. I am referring all of my friends to her!

Char is by far the best hair stylist around! I moved to Bellevue from NYC 9 years ago and have been exclusively «under her scissors» since. She’s consistently doing a great job (can’t remember a single time it was less than Great), She’s fast and efficient, reasonably priced, very stylish, but that’s not all :-) She’s also a really cool person, fun to talk to, and always on the go.

Staying in Bellevue for a couple of months for my Husbands work project, and decided to cut my hair after ten years. I had no idea who to go to. After reading several reviews on numerous websites, somehow stumbled on char’s reviews and decided to take a chance. Nervous after ten years and being in a new area, I was more than pleasantly surprised. She definitely showed her great experience of being a great stylist, and I felt very comfortable with her. She was awesome and I am very happy to have found her salon. BONUS: Her Prices.
