The food is always fresh hot and Delicious. Best burger in town. Great service.

More of an experience than a restaurant I felt that Burgermaster is more gimmicks than substance, while being cheaper than the Kid Valley up the street, I felt as though the burger was subpar and so we’re the fries. The shake however was the highlight of my meal and you didn’t have to eat it with a spoon. I would go again but it’s definitely not going to be a mainstay for me.

Amazing customer service. We had a bit of a mix up with the cash but the manager was amazing and was nice enough to drop it off at my work down the street and also included a gift card. Good food and good people!

If you want that good old just simple all star American burger with a shake and not that gourmet mountain of toppings that’s 80% bun… Here… Come here. At first you’re totally like wait did I pull up to the right place, and then you see the giant bull sign and retro styled interior, and you realize yes, yes you did. You park your car, leave your lights on so they know to get your order, turn it off after they take your order, and then turn it on again when you’re done. Burger wise, I found the meat to be a bit dry/more well-done than medium, BUT they also informed me the meat was organic and grass-fed, so that may be the reason.(Aka, the burger beef patty was actually more on the lean side than fatty and oily). A GRASS-FEDORGANICBEEFPATTYCHEESEBURGERFOR $ 5GUYS. *aherm* Needless to say, with pickles, onions, and BACON(I got the mini bacon burger, which was like a regular sized burger to be honest), it was nothing short of DELICIOUS. And for all you late night owls with crazy cravings and frustrations at the lull of the eastside, this place hits your spot perfectly. Fries are strong and unyielding. They are somewhere between skinny and steak sized fries. Not too salty to me. I also got a peanut butter fudge with butterfingers milk shake. Oh yes, you read that right. You get to choose up to 3 combinations. Yep. My friend got the combo 2 with the burgermaster and an extra patty. Basically your orders are highly customizable, extra patties are like $ 1.50 more etc. there’s dessert. Basically this place is more in-n-out than in-n-out ever is. Also, definitely would like to mention that the servers/waiters/waitresses are absolute sweethearts. Period. They would walk by your car and they’d smile at you. This is a true treasure of Seattle.

Legendary. I’ve had burgers and shakes from the cheapest fast food to pricey restaurants, and yet this is still my go to place. Great prices, amazing burgers and fries and the best shakes. Only downside is that you eat in your car and my son ends up getting fries all over :)

Burgermaster is a nice, fun and old-school eatery. Their burgers are tasty, and the shakes are think and delicious. Definitely a staple in our family!

When I was young, Burgermaster was always the place to go after a baseball game. Great burgers but my ultimate regular meal is obviously the chicken strips! Their tartar sauce is super unique. I have never tasted on similar from any other previous restaurant that I have been to. Funny story actually, I was talking with one of the waitresses and she told me how her brother when he comes in from Boston for the holidays brings back a pint of the tartar with him! The location is super great also. Personally I think this solely on the fact that this Burgermaster location is in Bellevue and I love Bellevue. The waitresses work their buns off. They’re on their feet all day and the pace is typically go go go. I know that if I was in their position that I wouldn’t be as efficient. They get your food to you the way you want it and there’s not much more you can ask than that. They also have a great variety of milkshakes as well. I usually get the tom and jerry milkshake which is an eggnog and nutmeg shake. I highly recommend it. If you ever have time coming home from Belle Square Mall or are coming from Kirkland to Bellevue make sure you stop in to get a bite to eat here!

I had a combo #3 today, first time having Burgermaster. The burger was pretty damn good. I wasn’t really impressed with the French fries or the price of the meal but the double bacon burger got me my cheeseburger fix.

I liken Burgermaster to a classic burger ‘n shake drive-in. A Triple D kind of place, except without Guy Fieri throwing frozen dinners at you. What they do have are crispy, crave worthy fries! The burgers are OK, sometimes I’ve found the patties to be dry. Also I enjoy the drive up and eat in your car aspect. Nothing worse fumbling about trying to drive and eat at the same time. It’s a nice change from the typical fast food drive thru.

Overpriced and not that good, parking is terrible, nice and friendly staff though. I can’t believe that a combo including fries and a shake 10 $? I guess it’s not too bad if your only paying for yourself. I did see it’s all grass fed, local etc.,

Over 20 years ago while visiting Seattle, I was working out of LA and visited the area for work. I stayed at a La Quinta in Kirkland, and right next door was this burger joint. So being that it was convenient enough to just walk over and grab some food, I ordered me a Burgermaster burger and was hooked! Since moving here soon after, I have been coming here and have been enjoying the food ever since. The cool thing is some of the employees still work here since the first time I tried the food! Now on to the food. Now I ain’t the kind of guy that’s gotta have this fancy-shmancy AAAAA buger patty, with veggies grown in the backyard, on some custom bun with seeds from Europe sprinkled on. What I do like is convenience! You don’t have to get out of the car, the servers come to you, take your order, and eventually will bring the food to you. The food is prepared once its ordered from the PDA devices and will take your payment from there as well. The food comes well organized and labeled. You can custom order the food, sides, and drink. The burgers are pretty big in my opinion and are delicious! Now, if you aren’t in the mood for a burger, you can get a chicken, turkey, or fish sandwich. If you’re a tarter fan, get the tarter for the fries! Keep in mind they charge for ketchup and tarter. The drive-in experience is definitely something that is cool and fun that was popular back in the day, and to be able to come through and enjoy some good food and service is a definite plus!

FOOD: I got the fish sandwich and tried the crispy chicken sandwich. I got the fish sandwich without cheese. It was an okay sandwich. It lacked seasonings and the tartar sauce was very scarce. I could use double the amount. It felt like it was just a dab which is not enough! For $ 7.39, I would not get it again. The fries did not taste fresh. Some were cold… The milkshake on the other hand made up for it… kinda… not really. Well it was satisfying. It was a basic milkshake, I got chocolate. Not special but sometimes I like it basic and it was good. SERVICE: Majority of the people that come here order from their car and turn on the lights for service. Pretty straight forward. PRESENTATION: No sit down area to eat. Eat in your car or drive home or somewhere else to eat your food. But I recommend eating it there or somewhere close by because the fries will not be any better later on. LOCATION: It’s a little always from civilization. It’s close to Bellevue Square but it’s surrounded but freeway, trees and buildings. Would I come back? If i’m passing by I will get a shake for sure! Love me some milkshakes. ADVICE: Pricy for a fast food joint so consider your options!

What happened to Burgermaster?! They used to have really good burgers. Our last stop there was disappointing to say the least. The buns taste cheap. The burger was bland and dry(no real fat to speak of). The topping were meh. I love drive-in burger joints, but I think Burgermaster is losing the essence of where they came from and trying to do too much.

What to say about Burgermaster? I’ve been here a few times for lunch since I work in the Bellevue area. I usually come here when I’m craving a burger, and it never really hits the spot. The burgers aren’t full of that juicy, beefy flavor and so it’s just kind of generally lacking. The fries are the biggest disappointment. They have no flavor at all and that makes me sad. The good things though are the service and milkshakes. Everyone is nice and the food comes out quickly.

I usually come here for a quick bite when I need to indulge. The problem is the service sucks. Not just sucks but let’s just say I’d have more fun talking to the wall. The wall would be friendlier than most of the servers who work here. What a shame, it’s been around for a long time. Still, the food is good so I continue to come back. I’m not sure where else I can find grass-fed beef at a drivethru when I need it.

I love Burgermaster. It is one of the Seattle traditions. I don’t love dining in my car when it’s cold outside, so it’s a lot better in the summertime, but that certainly isn’t on them. Service is quick and friendly, prices are reasonable, and the food is generally good. I like the veggie burger a lot, and the fish and chips are pretty good. The only downside is that the fries aren’t hand-cut. If I could have the fries from Dicks with the sandwiches and fish from Burgermaster, it would be a 5-star experience. Nevertheless, I recommend Burgermaster when you are in the mood for some quick food of a much higher quality than national-chain fast food.

Reviewers that compare this place to Red Robin and Five Guys are missing the point. Just wanted to point this out. I think this place is about a 3.5 for me but I can’t give half ratings so I rounded it up for their consistently good service and food. Drive in, dine in your car fast food that isn’t made with GMO ingredients = winner in my books. My wife says this place reminds the most of her of In N Out burger out of all burger joints she tried in WA. I am not sure I agree with this place being comparable to In N Out but they serve up good simple burgers without all the gimmicks. Prices are a tad bit high for what it is but hey they use grassfed locally raised beef. Cheers to that. They accept Amex!

Burgermaster is one of the last vestiges of a bygone era, it’s a real, honest-to-god drive-in. You drive up, your server comes out to the car and takes your order. You need to roll your window up a couple of inches so they can hook the tray on it when your food is served. The servers are pleasant and the service is fast. even in the middle of a busy lunch hour. Every time I come here it looks like the place is almost completely full. Be aware that there are additional spots on the back side of the parking islands. Things go quickly because they have modernized their ordering process. Back in the day they probably used pencils and order pads, and the cook wouldn’t see it until they went back to the kitchen. But that has been fixed. When I first came here, they were using Windows CE devices to take orders. There used to be Microsoft offices right around the corner from Burgermaster, and apparently a couple of the Softies helped them set up their system. Not sure what they’re using now, but they can use it to take your order and run your credit card. Android? But I digress. The food is good, I think they use local grass-fed beef for their burgers, the milkshakes are ‘real’ etc., but there are a couple of caveats. The prices can be a bit higher than other places. KInda depends on what you’re ordering. The burgers are tasty, but there are other places that have burgers that taste just as good. And there is the problem of eating in your car. I inevitably spill or drop something. Aside from the novelty of it all, I’m better off eating in a regular restaurant. But if you’ve never been to a drive-in restaurant, or if you long for the days gone by, you need to come to Burgermaster at least once.
