I saw Dr. Bunin a few times over a few years when I lived in Bellevue. He was always personable and mostly punctual. I am sure he generally gives good medical advice, but my experience was meh at best. I only had some minor issues I wanted to talk about with him, but he would always say it’s fine and don’t worry and go home. For example, I saw him for advice on toenail fungus, and he told me I could either use cream which doesn’t work, get the entire nail removed which may not work either, or take medicine that has a significant chance of destroying my liver; he also offered to refer me to a dermatologist who, he assured, would say the same thing.(Later I saw a different dermatologist who prescribed some cream which took care of the issue, though it did take many months.) Dr. Bunin mostly sees older folks who may be content living with minor issues, so I guess his attitude would be reasonable if I were 50 years older. And he probably would be less blasé about more important issues, but luckily I never had anything serious come up while I was his patient so I can’t say for sure.

An old school type of family doctor. I’ve been going to him for over 12 years. Funny, but also very clear, straight forward, and practical in his approach. Happy to answer any and all questions and takes his time with you.
