Bellevue Chimney Sweep and Masonry

Daniel from chimcare came to our house in Sammamish to clean our chimney. He was on time courteous and did a fantastic job I would highly reccomend them.

We knew we had to get our chimney cleaned as it had never been done.
Not knowing what to expect (we have never had a chimney cleaned in any of the houses we have lived in), we were a little nervous and worried about who would show up to perform the work, making sure we pay a fair price, and how they would treat our house (we have white carpet and keep our house extremely clean).
A neighbor recommended a local chimney sweep company «Chimcare» so we gave them a call. Everybody we talked to was very nice and took there time answering all of my questions. Phone calls were always returned promptly. I had a great feeling about this company so i decided to hire them.
The day of service they arrived on time and were very professional. They laid out tarps and protected our beautiful carpets. They explained the process in great detail, were very careful, and did a very thorough job.
We are very pleased with our experience and will be recommending them to family and friends.

I researched companies to find a good candidate to clean the chimney & install a new cap. Other companies had questionable reviews and Bellevue Chimney had none. Hoping for the best, I called and set up an appointment the first week of September. The person on the phone was average in service and scheduled an appt for 8:30am Saturday. Chimney Sweeper (Daniel) arrived right on time (thus the one *).
His ladder was not set up correctly (missing the pull rope to extend the ladder). My husband gave him our nylon rope so that he could start the job.
After tinkering with the ladder, Daniel informed us that our chimney height required a 40ft ladder. He didn’t have that size available and would need to come back.
He informed us that he would keep our ticket open and return later in the week.
No show, no call, no sweeper.
I left a message two weeks later that we were still waiting.
No show, no call.
I do not usually leave poor reviews, so I am hoping that Bellevue Chimney uses this as a tool to improve their service so that other customers can have a good experience.
I have now scheduled with Emerald and am on a 6 week waiting list! argh!
