Went here for lunch today. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great! I am a big guy and the portions filled me up. I had the #6 so I got to try some of everything, and each of the meats has it’s own unique flavor with great seasoning. I will absolutely be going back.

We tried this place based on reviews of a few friends and they also offered a groupon. The food was not bad, but it was nothing to rave about either. I had the doner kebab(#9) and my husband had the special which was a salad with chicken and pita bread on the side. The food was already prepped so the workers just had to assemble the food together. It reminded us of subway except this was for Turkish food. I love gyros so I was a little disappointed when i tasted the lamb and realized it was previously frozen. While our meal was edible it lacked a lot of flavor you would expect at a Turkish restaurant. We probably won’t go back as there are many better options for restaurants in the area.

The food is delicious and servings are generous. The seasoning on the food is wonderful and not too spicy. The meat dishes are all cooked to order, not sitting under a light. Love that! It was all cooked to perfection. The sides were great as well. I had never tried Turkish food before, going here. I’ll be back!

We stopped in here to grab a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised by the great service and quality food tucked away in this little shopping market. It’s a small place with limited décor, mostly a few nice photos on the wall. You order your meal at the register and then grab a seat at one of the few booths or tables. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I asked about gluten free and the owner came out and went over everything I could have. It was really refreshing that they were so knowledgeable about the allergy. Our food came out quickly and the flavor was very good. The meals came with rice, a cabbage salad which was tasty, and some delicious yogurt sauces. My fiancé went for the gyro and loved it and I had a kebab that was pretty nom. Price is very affordable and they also offer military discount with ID. Portion sizes are good and you’ll definitely leave full. We’ll be back for more noms here in the near future.

This place is a new favorite. I highly recommend getting the cucumber salad and the 3 meat combo on your first time. Make sure to use the greek yogurt style dipping sauce on everything. The lamb and chicken are particularly great. Definitely going to visit this place often!

Delicious! After reading may reviews finally got the chance to try this place out for an early Saturday lunch. We were some of the first few people in the door, the place was clean and staff super friendly and helpful with recommending some of the menu items. I had ordered the house Adana Kebab, with rice and red cabbage salad, this was excellent! After sharing with my 21 mo. old, I really wished there were two kebabs, maybe I can order an extra one a la carte next time? My mom, and older daughter had the Doner Kebab, both enjoyed and raved about the rice. I agree, the rice was stellar. Dessert options were also excellent, the baklava was some of the best I’ve ever had, the owner told us they have an individual that comes in every morning to make 2 pans, and they sell out very fast. The rice pudding was on point too. I cannot wait to eat here again, AND they deliver! Music to this working mom’s ears… Either way you slice it up, we will be noshing it again in the very near future!

I hate to give bad reviews but I’m kinda forced to give this once; hopefully they’ll fix this issue. The food is good. No questions about it. I tried the Iskender kabab-and that was solid gold. The problem was with the the staff. After pleasantly taking our orders and our money, we did not receive our food for about 15 minutes, even after our friends received theirs. Eventually the Chef(yes, they chef) came out and asked us” did you guys order the Iskender kababs? and then we knew it would take 10 minutes more! We also ordered the Hummus plate and never received it as our appetizer. Eventually we reminded the girl at the cash register(who apologized) but we had nearly finished our meal by then. We took the hummus to go and gave it a person on the crossroads. I’d say the food is good but the drive Bellevue from midtown is not worth the bad service. I’ll stick with El Basha. 2 stars.

Here’s to hoping they figure out proper portions for the price. The best part was the burnt to the bottom of the pan rice. The hummus was the worst I’ve ever had, I was so excited for some authentic hummus. After my husband ordered the mixed platter they ran out of beef kebabs. The döner kebab machine is broken, so that’s not available either. Hopefully they get into a groove and figure out how to put out large scale amounts of food that keep up with their customers. Update* I decided to return today to see if anything has changed. All I can say is WOW it a huge improvement. Everything all around was better, döner was available and no tiny pieces of chicken. If you’re in the area, stop by!

For a $ 10 quick and easy lunch, it doesn’t get much better than this. I was driving through Bellevue and looking for something besides the typical fast-food joint. I’m VERY glad I stopped by this place. Locally owned, no frozen ingredients, FAST(I got my food in literally 30 seconds), reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS. I could only justify the Doner Kebabs, which at $ 9.99 came out at the top of my job’s meal budget. It was the lowest priced entrée on the menu, but was excellent, considering everything else. It’s obviously no 4 star restaurant, but for a quick lunch, it deserves the 5 stars. I’ll be back FORSURE when I come through Bellevue next.

I was not impressed with this place the first time I came in, which was soon after it opened. I’m glad I gave it another go. My initial concern was that portion sizes were not as large as they should be. They have increased the portion sizes and I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. I ordered the number six which was the mixed grill. It cost $ 12.99 and came served on a bed of seasoned rice and chickpeas and included my choice of one of two salads. The food was plentiful, my drink was included, and despite the place being packed, the folks working were helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely eat here again!(I posted pictures of my dinner in the photo section here. I think it’s my first time posting a picture here!)

This is an awesome addition to the somewhat monotonous options for food in Bellevue. There aren’t many diverse options in the area but Adana’s is GOOD food. It is freshly prepared and the staff is friendly. Everything that I’ve tried is delicious and memorable and makes me want to return! Even if you don’t think you like Turkish food, or don’t know what it is, you may be surprised!

I really enjoyed this place. I tried the baklava and Adana Kebab and both were delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I plan on going back because I’m a big fan of doner kebabs and I really want to try one of theirs as well as the healthy smoothies that they sell. They also give a 10% military discount whether you are active duty or retired as long as you have an ID.

We ordered Beef Shish Kebob and Chicken Tava. The meat in both dishes were mildly seasoned and tasty. Although, I have to say there was a tad too much fat on my pieces of beef. The meals included rice, cabbage salad, pita, two types of sauces and a drink. Nothing fancy, but fresh and tasty. Owner, or who I assume is the owner stopped by our table a couple of times to see if we liked our meals. She was very open to our opinion. Her customer service skills and eagerness to ensure all are pleased are awesome.

I’ve been twice now, once was a takeout and once eat-in. I highly recommend eating in if you can. My takeout was the chicken tava. It was very good, perhaps a little too much grease on it but the flavor was fantastic. My main concern about taking the food to go was that it all kind of mixed together during the trip home even though I was very careful to keep it upright. But hey, it all goes to the same place, right? The second time I went was with some friends and we ate there. I had the lamb kabob, another friend had the doner kabob and the 3rd person had the chicken kabob. We all tried a bit off of each other’s plate. Everything was very flavorful and served at a good temperature. I have to make a special note about the rice with chickpeas… so good! You will love it and you’ll eat every bite. The downside to my lamb kabob was that the meat was just a tad bit too chewy. I expect lamb to be very tender and it just wasn’t. But it did taste good. We also had the Turkish tea. At a buck for a cup, you really must have some. The perfect way to end the meal.

So I’ve been here about a dozen times in the last 2 months, since they opened, and they’ve improved dramatically and continually. Portion sizes are great, food’s fresh, healthy, and amazing. The menu changes, there are specials and dessert. Sometimes I go in just for tea and smoothies. Delicious, quality food!

Been waiting for Adanas Kabab House to open. Stopped in for lunch, had the Chicken Tava. Wonderfully cooked chicken smothered in cheese and spices. Enjoyed it very much and for 9.99(includes a drink) was full and ready for the afternoon. Just a simple Kabab house, something that’s always welcomed in the area as there isn’t any other Turkish Kabab houses around. The owner made sure to visit each table to ensure her food was good and everyone was satisfied. Seems she willing to put in the effort to make her Kabab house a success. Definitely worth a try

Been looking forward to trying out the doner’s and kebab’s of Adana’s. Only had the doors open for about 2 weeks. No grand opening yet, been a soft opening so far in order to ensure the employees are trained, processes down and ensure consistent, delicious food is being turned out. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner; Ayten, who shows a tremendous desire to turn out delicious food and ensure her customers have a great experience and keep coming back. I’ll tell you more about that in a minute. Restaurant is located in the Twin Creek shopping complex along side of Massage Envy and a Hair/Nail Salon. Only about 10 or so booths inside. Walk up to the counter and place your order then move down to the cashier to pay. I tried the Doner Kebab Combo that comes with pita, rice, salad and a fountain drink for $ 7.99. Pita is large and the meat and rice are served on top of it. Meat had good flavor, rice has several things mixed in and it was decent, but think it may have been sitting for a little bit. The Tzatziki Sauce is made in house, and has a good flavor tasting strongly of mint. The house salad is red cabbage with a smattering of other diced up veggies dressed with what looked like a vinegar and oil base(not sure — not a lot of dressing on it) Now back to my earlier comment about Ayten being a very conscientious owner/manager/chef. First, she took my order and stated that to please be honest and provide her with any feedback I might have since the restaurant was recently opened and they were going through the normal growing pains. As I moved down the line to pay, I noticed that the serving of Tzatziki Sauce was quite small(tiny plastic cup) and not even filled up. I wanted more and was willing to pay the 75 cents for an additional helping, but made the comment that if I was paying for it, I’d like to ensure I got a full serving in the cup. So after I paid and sat down, Ayten came over and asked if she could sit and talk to me. We then proceeded to have a great conversation about the meal and what I thought could be improved. She agreed and stated that they were still working out the kinks. In addition to getting another couple cups of sauce, she also brought over a free sample of the Adana Kebab(ground lamb and spices) as well as a chicken kebab for me to try. Talk about great service. Most appreciated. So, what were the hits and misses during my first visit: Hits: 1. Great Owner/Manager/Chef — cares about the food and the customer 2. Doner Kebab — Tasty 3. Adana Kebab(ground lamb and seasonings) — Outstanding 4. Chicken Kebab — Good 5. Tzatziki Sauce — Heavy mint flavor, tasty — just not enough of it 6. Garlic Sauce — Creamy, yogurt based garlic sauce which is OUTSTANDING. Great for dipping pita, Adana Kebab, Chicken, you name it, you can probably dip it 7. Military Discount — 10% off, also includes military retirees. Cashier actually asked me(in my civilian clothes and beard) if I had a military ID to qualify for the discount. Showed my card and saved some money — I like it! Misses: 1. Size of Tzatziki Sauce portion 2. Side Salad — kind of flat, underdressed, not much flavor 3. No Dessert — Baklava was cooking and was not ready –Bummer. I’ll go back just to eat Baklava As you can see, the hits way outnumber the misses and I am sure it will only improve as time progresses. I am already looking forward to my next meal at Adana’s. Check it out. Open 7 days a week for your dining pleasure.

I stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday in October. I got here just a little after 11AM and beat most of the crowd. We were able to order, quickly receive our food, and find a place to sit without any trouble. It got crowded fast and seems to be very popular with the military crowd(but then, that’s pretty typical of all ethnic restaurants in Bellevue). They serve Turkish cuisine and specialize in the world of kebabs. You can almost think of it as Turkish street food. It is not a full service Turkish restaurant where you’re going to sit down, get a large menu with a huge variety of Turkish cuisine and whatnot. Think of a typical fast food Gyros place and give it a Turkish spin and that’s what this place is. Their meat is halal. I ordered the Doner Kebab. I remember ordering these from Turkish immigrant street vendors in Germany back in the 90s and loving them. It’s basically a Turkish gyros(hopefully that’s not offensive to the owners on Adana’s). Adana’s was very good, well-portioned, and very tasty. My brother tried their Adana’s Mixed Grill and loved it. Doner Kebab is $ 6.99 alone or $ 7.99 in a combo. Baklava was very tasty and they serve up a pretty large piece of it. They have a kids combos(Chicken, Beef, or Doner Kebab with pita, salad, rice, and juice) for $ 5.99. They also serve smoothies, but I did not partake in that side of their business. Staff were all extremely friendly and restaurant was very clean. Prices are a little higher than what it seems many people are expecting. For some reason, people seem to think that all entrées at fast food ethnic restaurants should cost $ 5. That’s unfair and unrealistic. I definitely felt that I received a good value for my money here and I have no problem with their pricing. For those familiar with the area, Adana’s Kebab House is in the Twin Creek area at the northwest quadrant of the Highway 370 and 36th Street intersection. It’s where Blimpie used to be located in the strip mall just east of Baker’s. There were some early complaints from other customers about portions being too small for what it costs, but I was pleased with my portion size. Perhaps they’ve already made adjustments there. I also think Americans need to keep in mind that our concept of what is a proper portion of food is a bit warped. That’s one of the myriad of reasons why we’re the most obese country in the world. Another early complaint is the seating. Their layout pretty much mimics what Blimpie had when it occupied this strip mall unit(and sandwich/deli shops are notorious for their lack of seating). There are some booths along the East and West walls of the place and that’s it. I think they can probably put a few tables down the middle to improve seating, but that’s as good as it is going to get unless one of their neighbors vacates and Adana’s chooses to expand into the adjoining unit. When Offutt AFB realizes that the entire base doesn’t have to go eat lunch at the exact same time, then the availability of seating will improve. As of now, the 11 – 12 lunch hour is a lot more crowded than the 12 – 1 lunch hour. So, keep that in mind. I’d suggest arriving right at 11 or waiting until after 12:30. A couple of minor misses: They need fresh-brewed iced tea as a beverage option. When I was there the lights back to the restrooms were not working and flipping the switch didn’t do anything(circuit breaker popped?).

The place hit a few hurdles before and after opening for business; between the delayed opening and closing for a day due to maintenance issues. Let’s start with the positives – the food(meat) was delicious. We ordered the Mixed grill combo and the Lamb kebab. Both were just flavored right for our liking. The salad(which was mostly red cabbage) was just OK, and so was the rice and pita as well. We tried to order Baklava, but they were out. They ran out on a few other items on their menu as well during our dinner visit. That’s not really a good thing especially on a Friday night. The place don’t have a lot of tables(maybe 6 – 7 booths), but they do have some individual bar type seats available by the entrance. Their menu prices are a bit expensive for the portions you’re getting(see my photo of Lamb kebab order for $ 9.99) Definitely something to try if you’re in the area and in the mood for something different.
