Ordered a variety of things for our first foray with Mr. Pizza, on a lazy Saturday evening. We ordered a Pepperoni melt round pizza with butter parmesan garlic crust. It tasted good, but the crust was too soft to avoid making a mess and eating it pig style. We also had a Hawaiian round, which was reported to be «OK». I’m not a fan of fruit on pizza, so I abstained from this one. We added an order of feta bread which was pretty darned tasty, and an order of Bananas Foster bites, which were just barely OK (obviously from frozen). I ordered a diet Pepsi fountain pop (I’d been dying for one all day and had none in the house), and was disappointed to find after two sips that it was regular, not diet. Into the trash it went.
The service and delivery was good and friendly, with no complaints other than my pop.
Overall, not an awful experience, but I’ll probably go back to my regular place until a new one hits my radar.

So when someone receives a delivered pizza with the wrong toppings, you’d think the review would be negative. Not today. We ordered a pineapple and ham and received a banana pepper and ham pizza… not cool. When I called and spoke with the manager he immediately apologized and quickly remade/​redelivered the correct one without question or issue! Now, you may say that’s what’s supposed to happen but you wouldn’t believe how many times other places gave rude responses as if it was OUR fault their employees made a mistake, so they deserve a little love for acknowledging their mistake and defusing the issue immediately!

I will start by saying I love their food. I hate their prices. I can get to pizza’s for what they charge for 1 pizza. They have the largest menu for any pizza shop. They just need to take this in consideration and try to lower their prices.

Whenever we are in the mood for really good, carry out food, we go to Mr. Pizza. We have been there dozens and dozens of times and have always had a great meal.
Their pizzas are good, but we usually go for the Mexican items on their menu. Their burritos and nacho’s are excellent. We love the loaded potatoes and the appetizers and samplers. Their portions are good, prices are reasonable.
Whenever we stop by, the manager seems to always be there and is a great guy! He always waves and greets everyone. It’s a friendly, fun atmosphere!

We had the gluten free pizzas delivered. We all enjoyed it. The delivery was fast, and the gluten free pizza was very affordable, especially compared to other places. (Mr. Pizza charges an additional $ 2 for gluten free crust, which I consider a good deal!). The family said my homemade pizza is better, but I thought or was tasty and very similar to regular crust. for a quick, fuss-​free dinner, we’ll be ordering again!

I ordered a cheese pizza from this place tonight and it was terrible. The cheese on the pizza was hard felt like rubber and the cheese came off of the pizza as soon as I took off a slice. I called for a refund and the manager told me that I could either get another pizza or a store credit because they don’t do refunds. That complete BS. Why on earth would I want a store credit or another pizza from this place when the first one I received was terrible? I will NEVER waste another penny at this place!!!

They have very flabby regular chicken wings here. Just not crisp at all. The boneless work really well though and I love the chipotle BBQ sauce too. Rib tips are better and a bigger portion than Happys but the shrimp and fish are pathetic cheapo style freezer bag specials here. The fish is eerily similar to a really big fishstick. Yikes.
Pizza is actually very good, particularly deep dish. The husband is more inclined to it than I am though. This is as per usual for us.
Anything mexi works. The quesadillas and the mexisticks in particular. If you are going for it ask for both ranch and salsa for either. The chicken sammies and subs are really nicely portioned. Nothing that will turn your world on end in either direction but they are solidly reliable.
Carry out is usually correct and delivery is painless. Perfect for those nights where you don’t want to go out, you don’t want to cook and you want more than just pizza as an option.

Hit up Mr. Pizza by default because they are the only pizza place relatively close to my apartment. I was pleasantly surprised with very friendly phone service, even at 11:30 on a Thursday night, and delicious hot pizza upon pick up. They have a large menu that extends far past just pizzas like wings, burgers, and bakes subs.
The next time I’m in the mood for some hot pizza or snacks I’ll give Mr. Pizza a call. Plus they have fair prices and some enticing specials. If you’re in the area check-​um out!
