Marco’s Express

Always hit this little place. The guys working there are always friendly, and offer to bring the to-​go food out to your car if you want.
In my opinion, best pizza in town. The sandwiches and pasta are also very good. Often overlooked little place… try it!

Have never had food from here but have heard great reviews. Was very disappointed because I was looking so forward to trying the food. Look at menu posted here for them on Unilocal and they did not offer anything I wanted that was listed on the menu I looked at. So, I did not order anything. Dont, know if I will try to order from here in the future. I was told the items I wanted were only offered at their restaurant. So update the menu!

Me and my co workers have ordered here a couple times. And every time the delivery guy is very rude. And that is when they even want to deliver to us. I called at 8 o’clock during the week and was told that they were no longer accepting delivery orders. I’m sorry but if the order is going to be at least $ 50 worth of food it might be worthwhile to cook the shit up, because they don’t close until 9 pm. Needles to say they lost our business for good.

Best pizza in town. Friendliest staff. I called for a pizza and a salad. Within 20 minutes, I’m watching the game and enjoying the best pizza. The salad was awesome too. Great sweet Italian salad. Their dough tastes homemade and the toppings could have been better. Not only did my team win the game but I had leftovers for lunch the next day.

Hmmm, just ordered a pizza a little while ago, always have had good luck with this place, once or twice a month on average, a little expensive but tasty. Busy Friday night I guess, the guy taking orders was either deaf or an idiot, I’m thinking the latter. Somehow a 17.95 pizza turned into 25.04, wow. Called a few minutes later after some ruminations about the price, Mr. Brilliant misunderstood, OK I guess, I’m not a hard ass. So the pizza arrives in good time, I give the driver a twenty and a ten, uh, hey thanks chief, I’d like to get three bucks back, hunh? What do you want? I’d like three back. How much? Oh for Christ sake! Take the goddamn money! So what do you get from Marco’s express for 30 dollars? Something that amounts to a fancy frozen pizza. Go! Marco’s the chain just up the street. I like supporting the independents but sometimes it’s just not worth it! Obviously you pricks don’t appreciate your clientele, there are many other choices in this area, keep that in mind.

Wife and I just discovered this place this weekend visiting family. Hands down best delivery/​carry out pizza I’ve had in a long time. Definitely best pizza in Belleville area!

OMG! I have a new favorite here; a calzone with the cheese blend from «The Wisconsin,» pepperoni, and jalepenos with red sauce on the side. SPICY DELIGHT!

Ordered the pizza and the wings. The wings were decent. I usually don’t care for baked chicken wings.
The cheese, sauce, and toppings on the pizza wee great, too. The crust, however, is lacking. We ordered from here on two separate occasions and both times the crust was undercooked and greasy. It is a St. Louis store crust (thin, cracker type).
If they fix the crust, I would give them 4 or 5 stars.

Great service and great pizza at both restaurant and express location. Good pie, not too sweet like rest of pizzas in area. Good price, you will not be disappionted.

IN SHORT: Probably the best local carryout/​delivery pizza available in Belleville.
DETAILS: Marco’s Express is an offshoot of Marco’s on Main (which is on the west side of town). The menus are similar, but Marco’s Express only offers delivery and takeout service. And that’s just fine, because they’re definitely a go-​to place for a nice, cracker-​style thin-​crust pizza with a tasty sauce and a pleasantly thick blend of cheeses.
We ordered three pizzas from Marco’s, and we weren’t disappointed. Your choices aren’t just limited to red sauce and cheese, and there are plenty of toppings to choose from. But honestly, I was happy with my regular cheese pizza. My wife got a Hawaiian (which included mandarin oranges as well as pineapple and ham), and she raved about it. My friend got one that was so loaded with toppings I wondered if the pizza would fall apart as he ate it. Fortunately, it didn’t, and he was also extremely pleased with his choice.
We ordered salad as well. The salad comes with a house Italian dressing, but it wasn’t nearly as sweet as we expected. It was, however, quite good, and we did the unthinkable and actually finished off the salad before the pizza. (In my house, pizza always gets first priority!).
Service was quick and easy, though I felt sorry for the guys since it was a hot day and they didn’t appear to have a working air conditioner. They were polite, though, and they seemed to put some care into preparing the pizzas.
The prices are a little higher than the chains in the area, but I felt like the quality justified them. We’ll definitely order from them again, since they’re probably the best local chain Belleville has to offer!

I have just recently discovered this place and find that I crave it often. So far I have only sampled the calzones, salads and sandwiches. The pizza comes highly reccomended by several people in Belleville. Very polite staff and quick service. The chicken ultimate calzone is huge and delicious. Order it for dinner and you’ll have leftovers for lunch! The pastas and wings are next on my list. I’m sure I’ll have more raves to share as soon as I try them.
