Somebody named Dan came out from this company in March. He was an older guy and was very patient about explaining everything that they would be doing. It all looked really good and made a lot of sense to me. I really liked him. One of the things that really impressed me about him… I know it’s a small thing… But he actually turned off the lights in the basement before he came back upstairs. I like attention to detail like that. The price was very reasonable. He had me sold. I told him I would probably be getting the work done in July or August after getting some other inside work completed. A couple months later, I get a call from somebody who said that they had to let about three sales people go because they did not submit paperwork or had lost paperwork or something like that. He wanted to know if I still had my paperwork and I told him I probably did somewhere but was at a loss right then as to where it was since I was in the middle of projects on the inside of my house. He made an appointment for somebody named Ryan to come out May 17th at 10AM. At 10:08AM I get a text message from Ryan saying he couldn’t make it and would come late in the afternoon. I texted him back and said late afternoon would not work for me. Today is May 31, and I still have not heard anything from these people. The other thing I’m annoyed about is, if he had the phone in his hand in order to text, why couldn’t he have just called me and rescheduled right then? Or at least texted me a reason why he couldn’t call or come to the house right then. Again, attention to detail. I’m not impressed and still looking for a foundation company. anybody out there got a suggestion?!

After dealing with a leaky basement for months, multiple foundation people, contractors, and the installation of a several thousand dollar drain system outside of our house we were running out of options and money. Our basement still leaked, a lot. We called Fivestone and scheduled time for Ryan to come out and look. We were completely at a loss, within ten minutes of him arriving he was able to identify the problem, a shoddy drain tile install that wasn’t completely concreted over when it ran under a closet frame. Ryan was completely honest with us on what we needed to do to fix the problem and recommended a reasonably priced solution. The basement is now dry, for good! And we saved money on other, more expensive ‘fixes’ Even through all of the rain and flooding over the last few months our basement has remained dry. I would strongly recommend Fivestone Foundations and I trust their work, honesty, and character completely.
