Cigar Inn Jazz Club

Owner was really nice, at first, when we placed our order & was very accommodating. 2 of us ordered then as one was getting a cigar he was filled in that there was a $ 5 cover per person, after we got our drinks. We were there for 1 drink. When we went to pay, I questioned it & he said «everyone charges a cover around there» but he would take it off. Then proceeded to say he shouldn’t have to take it off & the money was going to the band etc… Got the bill, it wasn’t taken off!!! Needless to say, total rip off & won’t be back!!! What a shame.

Very comfortable and loads of character. 40 single malts to choose from. Reasonably priced.

Went here after the misleadingly named jazz festival in belleville. This place was a totally dive in the basement that smelled totally of cigar smoke… in other words, EXACTLY what it should be.
I loved this place. Can’t wait to go back.

We’re ordering our drinks. I could see so e people say they didn’t know and try not to pay it. I would recommend management make it more clear to avoid any issue.

I’m not a cigar smoker, but we went to the Cigar INN for the first time on my birthday. Even though all of us have lived in the area our entire lives, we’d never ventured in. I have to say this place is incredibly cool! This night, in particular, a friend of mine was hosting karaōke, and the crowd was a pleasant mix of people. Drinks were reasonable and well-​mixed. The idea of the stairs is neat, but for girls in heels, it’s not so awesome. Not a deal breaker – we will just choose different shoes next time. The ambiance is unique – especially to Belleville. You feel as though you’re in an exclusive jazz club. It isn’t that it’s insanely swanky or too high end — it’s very comfortable, but also has that vibe of a «secret club.» Okay, so that’s a cheesy way of putting it. It’s a cool place. That’s all. It’s definitely a hidden gem!

Whenever my friends from Canada visit, they always want to go. Even the ones that don’t smoke. I love the vibe of the place. Dark, friendly, a little eclectic. I love that you have to down a flight of stairs to get in.
The owner is a great guy, always welcoming. The bartender is great also.

Found this place on Unilocal and doubted a cigar bar in Belleville would be little more than any other bar in town except they sold cigars. Wrong! From the moment I descended the stairs I knew this place was gonna be special. Low lighting, all the essential cigars in the humidor and drinks at the bar and a bartender who was friendly and knew her cigars. Well-​ventilated and comfy. Price of drinks is reasonable, cigar prices a bit high but what the heck, you can smoke ‘em here.
It was a quiet night at first but soon filled up with a lively friendly group of folks.
I highly recommend and it will be a place I frequent. Please, don’t change a thing!

Like ever other cigar place the people inside were welcoming and friendly. The owner, knowing that I was an outsider, went out of his way to make me feel at home. The setup and atmosphere is second to none, the stage and the live jazz playing makes relaxing almost second nature. The bar is a good size and the choice of drink perfect. The humidor is a little limited but I am curtain that if you asked for a brand of cigar chuck will get it for you. This is a must go place for anyone visiting the area, you will not be disappointed and you may gain a few more friends.

Went there one night on a humbug and was pleasantly surprised. Its located in i guess old town Belleville. They got a good selection of cigars and great bar. The lady behind the bar was super pleasant and a joy to talk to. I moved to one of the couches and struck up a convo with the owner. Great guy.
they have scotch tasting nights, Jazz nights and other appropriately themed nights for a cigar bar. Great atmosphere and recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Talking to the owner i found they get a lot of traffic from Scott Air Force Base too.
My only issue is that its so far away from me. but if i lived closer it would be a regular place to go. I highly suggest you check it out one night. you won’t be mad!

On recent business trip to St. Louis my traveling partner and I were looking for a late night cigar. We had finished a semi decent meal at the local Joe’s Crab Shack and headed into Bellville for a place we had heard was pretty good.
Well let me tell you it was better than good, it was great! Cozy atmosphere, great selection of high quality cigars, a full bar with top shelf all the way (including great single malts) and beers for all tastes. The music was smooth with sounds from Dizzy Gillespie to Steely Dan and a barkeep named Angie who really knew her drinks as well as pretty much anything you wanted to know about St Louis and other local places. It also didn’t hurt that she was very easy on the eyes to boot.
We liked it so much on the Wed night we went (20% off cigar night) that we returned on Thursday as well and it was even better. That night we met Chuck, the owner, and he was one nice guy as well.
I would recommend the Cigar Inn highly to anyone passing through that neck of the woods. I know I will be retuning there on my next trip to St Louis which I hope will be soon.

What a night! It was the Jazz and Blues festival in Belleville but the company found at the Cigar Inn was even better. After dinner across the street, I wanted to try something new. I got sucked into the friendly atmosphere, wonderful music and gracious people around me. On the way out, I had a chance to speak with the owner — Chuck is doing a wonderful job. Can’t wait to go back!
