We went to the Valley Stream Staples which I won’t recommend anyone to go too. The service there was horrible. We needed invitations done for a celebration that we were hosting. The guy (Kyle) that printed our invitations looked like he was fighting zombies and he kept flirting, playing around, and eating pretzels with his co-​friend sitting behind the computer. Very unprofessional as well as unkempt. Black and Brown dreads and a very rumpled staples shirt as if he had just tumbled in a field full of weeds. He was in a serious zone when asked questions about printing paper and he looked as if he didn’t want to be there. Honestly the loc in Valley Stream needs to be tore down and the space needs to be reused for a multi-​plaza. Ever time I come it’s always a different story.
At the Jericho store loc. the lady that I and my fiancée saw was Rachel. She was very kind to us and attentive. She redid an invitation order that Valley Stream made a huge mistake on. I’ll give her 5 Stars. The only downfall was the invitations that Rachel did was missing the background detailing (embroidered image) which made the invitations cards look nice and they didn’t have a sharp /​good quality cutter for us to cut our invitations so we had to drive back over to the Valley Stream staples to use their cutter. We decided to call the store before going back to Valley Stream to stalk to a manger and see what could be done but no one was picking up the phone. Hence, I give Valley Stream staples 1.5 Star.

This is the worst staples, the only reason I come here is because it’s near my home and job. This place sold us a defective printer, which I understand it was not the store’s fault; but the hassle they gave us when we tried to exchange it less than 24 hours later was ridiculous. The manager said we had to purchase the protection plan for it. Um, no. After a lot of arguing, we were able to exchange it; but not before the manager told us this was the «last time» he would allow that. If you sell a product that doesn’t work you Have to take it back, you’re not doing me a favor. This was only one incident. I shop here often because I constantly need office supplies, so every month we spend about $ 1000 on average. (It’s for work) Staples is always advertising they have the lowest prices because of their price match guarantee. Well, if you find the product lower somewhere else and come here for convenience get ready for the run around. They are going to check on your phone, add it to the cart on your phone and then go around to their own computers and check on there, you know, just in case you decided to build a fake
in order to save a couple of dollars. I don’t recommend this place, horrible customer service. They have too many «procedures» for price match. Also, if you’re looking for someone to help you, good luck. There are barely any floor employees and they literally run from you. As you start walking toward one they start power walking in the opposite direction. If by chance you catch one before he runs into the stock room he’s probably already helping someone else and you’re going to have to wait a while. I have never seen more than 1 cashier working at a time so there usually is a line.

Going downhill. Waited twenty minutes for service. In the meantime we found a kiosk with the Fire bundle. It was not on display and there was no price. So when the salesperson showed up we ask for help the price was right. But the manager had to get it. Twenty minutes later it turns out they don’t have any even though the kiosk is full of empty boxes. Instead he tries to sell us a higher priced model. We say no. Manager asks us to wait maybe he can find one in another store. Twenty minutes later he’s a no show. In the meantime we found it on Amazon for the same reasonable price shipped free in two days.
I’m writing this negative review only after several negative experiences with this store. Used to be great. Now poorly run and staff unhelpful.

Customer service is on POINT… always able to find what I need… I’ve never seen it crowded at all… will continue shopping here for supplies

I like that this location has a shipping center to accept USPS parcels and UPs parcels. Overall this location can use some improvement. Their products and items are not organized and so finding items can be difficult. In passing the managers show interested to greet their customers and offer help, however the other staff members just pass along and seem to run away from their customers. A few times in my visits, I have asked the copy and print center questions about printing or about the different grades of paper to print on. I am not a fan of those employees who pas the baton to another employee and say to me that they don’t have the answers, I will have to ask someone else. Once in particular I inquired about a specific card stock paper. I usually purchase my own pack of paper and use as needed. I did not want to open a pack of card stock paper in their paper department so I decided to see if they have the same paper already opened in the Copy and Printer center. The manager of the store said sorry the packs you buy are not what we print on. You have to use what we have in order to print your documents. I was a bit baffled in that I’ve brought my own paper to them many times to have large quantities of documents printed in the past. I still come back to this location because it is the closest staples from home for me. I guess I’ll either need to move or travel further for better customer service.

Standard Staples store. Shares a parking lot which has poorly designed lanes especially for exiting. I give it four stars because the cashiers are almost always friendly. That counts a lot for a good shopping experience.

Their copy center is a hit or miss. For everyday printing if you email their system they print it when you get there and for cheap. For custom orders, even though they say it’s ready when you get there it’s NEVER ready you have to come back later so in that sense they’re unreliable.

Quiet today on this supplies store though it is Sunday. I was helped right away. I always go to this store for any school supplies or office supplies. For today I bought a color printer ink and surprised when the cashier told me a $ 15 off as part of the promotion. Yay !
I like this location: clean, big, lots of inventories & huge parking lot.
Been a favorite, the closest to my place.

What a crappy store. Employees walk around like Zombies and don’t care about the customers. I left and won’t be back.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE STAPLES STORE!
1) The Manager of the store is pleasant and helpful.
2) This Staples store has a wide variety of office supplies and everything you would need.
3) I Buy things four or five times a week at this Staples store and I am very rarely disappointed. It is one of the better Staples stores!

As far as Staples goes, this is a pretty nice one. Only downside is the small, narrow parking lot which makes it difficult to park and equally as difficult to get out.

This a decent, clean, well lit full service Staples store, that has a very helpful and friendly staff. They have convenient hours and a private parking lot.
Note: The parking lot is poorly designed, so beware

The line was pratically out the door the other day when my mom wanted to stop in and grab an electric pencil sharpener real quick.
I decided I’d stay in the car because i KNOW when she says she is running in for ONE thing she ends up in this place for an hour. Not because she ends up picking up more stuff… but BECAUSE the line is always so damn long she ends up standing in their forever.
It truly doesn’t matter what time of year it is. This staples always has a ridiculous line. At least every time I go it’s the same situation. Maybe they need more cashiers. Maybe they need to be better organized. I don’t know. but they need something. It’s ridiculous.
Avoid this Staples if you can. Head a little further down Jericho. The other one is definitely less crowded.
