Such a great staff and great food. Loving the new renovations and I can’t wait for them to be fully finished. Even though they don’t sell alcohol, you won’t miss it. The raspberry splash is amazing and refreshing! Definitely a great summer drink on a hot day. Nothing is better than being greeted by the owner and having a great conversation with him. Fast service and good chill vibe in the lounge. Get the Ferrero Rocher Shake, it’s delicious. Good pricing and I recommend the blue mist flavor with the ice hose.

Convenient, friendly service and staff. Sara and Danish are the best staff i have met at a hookah lounge. Hookah is good. Owner is friendly and always sees that you are satisfied and food is great here also.

After being here recently I can say that service has gone down. The music is horrible here and very loud. They need to stop playing Indian/​raggae Music. The owner never changes music and plays whatever he wants. Please play American music!

This is a decent hookah lounge. The hookah itself isn’t amazing. Steinway has better hookah spots. But it isn’t bad. Decent hookah at a convenient location. Service was also good. No complaints there (as of right now). The reason I will only give this place a 2 star is because of the fact that they try to drain your wallet any way they can. So many useless and stupid rules. You’re going out to have a good time with your friends, not going to a boot camp or to throw your hard earned money away like it has no value.
To start: 2 people MUST have 1 hookah. 4 people MUST buy 2 hookahs. Then, there is a $ 5 sharing charge. Which is ridiculous and stupid. You are paying a full price for a hookah, it should be up to you who you decide to share it with. Then if you want a comfortable booth, you must spend a minimum of $ 50, regardless if it’s packed or not. However, it is very easy to rack up a charge of $ 50 at this place. They really try to make this place into something out of this world by requiring people to have the proper attire. Meaning, there is a dress code. No hats, no hooded shirts, etc. It’s a hookah lounge for god sakes. Not a 5 star restaurant.
Furthermore, they decide for you how much you should tip. It is automatically added into the bill, on top of the sharing charge. Let me decide who I want to share my hookah with, let me decide how much I want to tip, let me be in control of my money. On top of the cost of food, you’ll see fine prints such as. When you order wings, sauce is $ 1 extra. You want an ice hose? Extra charge. You want something custom? Extra. There is so many extra charges that in the end, it’ll just ruin your experience. Hookah itself isn’t cheap here — up to $ 27 for the «premium» ones. It’s not a world class hookah either. Then on top of that, so many things have an extra charge. I really don’t understand why people put up with it.
My advice to the management: Remove the stupid sharing charge. Let the customer decide who they want to share their fully paid hookah with. Remove the automatic tip and instead, pay your workers a fair wage, not taking the tip into account for their salary. Stop with all the strict dress code policy — customers shouldn’t have to dress a certain way to come to your business to pay you a crap load of money.
Besides that, it’s a decent hookah lounge that is overpriced — but in a convenient location (for some people).

My friends and I really enjoy coming here. Great ambiance. Perfect place to hang out with friends. They have it all good food, good hookah, good music and good service all you need is some good company and you have yourself a good night!

I went there Tuesday night there service in my opinion not even deserve one star.
Food was cold, no one came to ask if we need anything we have to call them each and and every single time if we needed anything

I came here with a few friends to take a friend whos leacing for vacation out for the night. And to be honest the place is amazing, although I was unaware of the sharing charge on the hookah once we mentioned it to Rezwan and explained the situation cause we ran a little short, he gave us the most amazing solution removing the sharing charge and giving us a 10% discount knowing its out first time here; on top of that he gave us fee water to all three of us, he’s a very generous and courteous person and loves taking care of u his customers. I would most definitely recommend more friends here as well as come back myself. The service here is amazing, not a single complaint. They gave cards and luddu board for our own entertainment.

My reason for giving two stars is not due to bad food, service or hookah. It is because of the music, this is a hookah lounge and there is a diverse range of patrons who visit this place.
Music– «what is this» they play it on YouTube and the video shows up on the TVs. It’s not very entertaining, specially with the bass being so loud.
They should play music which is enjoyable to everyone and not so loud where it feels like I am in some Indian jazz club. We requested to have the music changed but they never changed the music and kept playing it. I suggest they play music that everyone understands.
Also, there are random cover charges or sharing charges that pop up every time I visit.
Keep in mind on your next visit.

I have been here twice; the first time was about a year ago and the second time was last night. I thought this place was alright the first time around but last night the service was atrocious and our fresh pineapple hookah was not being maintained with coals throughout the three hours my friends and I were there for. There staff isn’t attentive and I doubt they use high quality hookah products. When the guy serving the coal finally came around to changing it about two hours later I had to make a sassy comment because I was annoyed; I asked him how his nap was LOL. He wasn’t humored and neither was I, and unfortunately they don’t serve alcohol so I was sober and annoyed. I also ordered mozzarella sticks and there condiments for that choice of food was ketchup and ranch sauce which tasted as weird as it sounds. The masala chai was bland to top it all off. I doubt thats the worse this place can get though.

I will never go back here again.
The workers changed recently, I used to go and it was good about a few months ago. I went three weeks ago and I received food without the forks and knives and spoons. It took about 10 – 15 minutes to provide us that stuff, in that much time my food was f**Ken cold. Hookah tasted like crap that day as well. I stayed there with my friends for about 40 minutes, we had 4 shitty hookahs and 8 food plates were supposed to come out… only 6 came and we cancelled the other two because it was over 50 minutes that we had ordered (yes we constantly called the waiters) to get the utensils for everyone we eventually had to go up and ask. The bill was about $ 150 with gratuity and I understand that completely because I’ve been here countless times and I think it’s fair to have gratuity in the bill but that day it was not deserved with the service we received.
To give it another shot I went 2 weeks later with my girlfriend couldn’t believe Majlis would have terrible service like that, and we got the same results. In fact we had a Mettha paan that didn’t pull, and within 10 minutes the guy tried to fix it with too many coals and whatever flavor was there died. My girlfriend asked to change it, the guy said he’s still charging us for it. We replaced it with another hookah which wasn’t the best, he tried to get us to smoke watermelon freeze (far from the meetha paan flavor). We left within 20 minutes after that came out. A bill of $ 120 was not worth this trip. As a regular hookah smoker at Red Mist in Brooklyn I come here just to get a different environment, but it’s never happening again.
I am confident in saying that Majlis has lost its touch and me along with my friends as customers for sure. I noticed the workers changed as well, terrible place. Never coming back. (It takes alot for me to come to Unilocal and write a review, I just felt that after wasting almost $ 300 here it was a necessity)

Place is nice and staff are friendly… Came here twice, both on weekdays at like midnight… They start turning off some of the lights around 145 but they don’t Rush you to leave… Some places they start clearing your plates and stop putting coal but the guy still came to change my coal while they were cleaning… We had like 7 people and 2 hookahs plus some drinks and fries. I definitely love their masala fries but sometimes it’s a little too spicy but still delicious. Boyfriend had the chicken over rice once and he liked it but 2^nd time the rice was too hard. Nice spot for just hanging out… Also, they have some games which is nice, and they also have at least 6 tvs playing sports on one side and other shows on the other.

They are very friendly, great environment and great Hookah Flavors! The Afghani Tea is on point.

This place is absolutely amazing, clean, the staff is so friendly, the owner likes to check on all customers. Food is absolutely delicious, there are so many dishes to choose from. Drinks and desserts are really good as well. They have games for entertainment if you come with a group of friends which is really cool. Hookahs are so fresh and good. If I could give this place 100 stars, I totally would.
