I have driven in this area for years but never noticed this restaurant along Route 51 before nor was I aware of their other location in Uniontown. Turned out to be a good stop to catch the rest of the game and to try out their wings. They feature whole wings and they have a nice variety of sauces to choose from. They have a full dining room where a small bar is located and there is another separate dining room off to the other side. The aroma of fine Italian food filled the entire restaurant and from what I observed the other diners were enjoying their hearty portions of pasta dishes. The menu looks very inviting for another return visit. Our service was excellent and the dining experience was relaxed and comfortable,

A friend took me there for dinner to see how this location compares to the sister restaurant in Uniontown. We do this quite frequently, visit new restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. First of all, decently decorated, trying to go for that Italian feel. Not quite there yet. We decided to sit in the bar area, it seemed a little more cozy to us. We sat at a booth, the waitress was pleasant and took out drink orders. Both ordered wine, each the house wine, my friend red, me white. Both were received in a fair amount of time as the bar area was fuller but not filled. Both wines were good but both of us agreed price seemed a little steep for the area and for the general atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s not Pittsburgh but Fayette county(we saw the sign welcome to Fayette county as we left). I ordered a veal cutlet, my friend the gnocchi. Bread was warmed but was crumbly when cut, sign of being stale. Salads we good, veggies seemed fresh. When we received the food not of our entrees were only lukewarm at best. My cutlet was soggy on the bottom and it really didn’t have a lot of flavor. My friend’s gnocchi were like mush and so was the pasta for my side dish. And as I mentioned above, neither meal was anything close to hot. The sauces were ok, not phenomenal but acceptable. Our total bill was over $ 65, with wine and food. Not overly expensive but maybe a tad for the area we were in. Both of us felt the new restaurant is going through some growing pains. Will make a return after a while to see if they’ve improved. Right now can only give it 3 stars which is generous considering the quality of food/service versus the cost.
