The Royal Bakery

I ordered a custom cake for a baby shower. I paid almost $ 90 for an 8 inch cake. I was so disappointed! It was supposed to be a white cake with strawberry filling. The filling was not in the cake. The decorations on the cake were made from fondant, which I paid extra for. The fondant was horrible! It tasted like latex gloves. I will never use this bakery again!

It’s A-​OK. I stopped by to try their cream pies. I ordered the coconut, banana and chocolate mini-​pies. The banana cream pie tasted all banana extract. All the pie crusts were soggy probably from sitting way too long waiting and hoping to be bought. The chocolate cream pie tasted like Jello pudding out of a box, and with a soggy pie crust. The coconut cream pie was the best.

These people are horrible. Yeah, they produce a decent product. But for the guest service and professionalism, they’re over priced and completely rude. logan and his wife («owners») are way too young to understand how important guest service is and how important word of mouth is to the success or failure of a business. the wife (kristen?) won’t even speak to people on the phone, she texts messages… says they are going to do something when they have no intention of doing so… changes designs of cakes without approval of the customer, because «i thought your picture looked weird», then tells them oh well, i cant do anything to make it better. won’t return phone calls, logan offers something to a customer and doesnt relay the message to his wife, so she acts like a bXXXh to the customer and assumes they just want stuff for free. cake was burnt, was supposed to be vanilla and wasn’t, and cost over $ 300 and was horrible. for that money, go to creative cakes. they are amazing. never, ever, ever use these people. ever!

SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I called the bakery to get a quote for a cake, and they gave me a great price. They said they need 2 days advance notice, so I emailed them 2 days before I needed my cake, and they denied ever giving me the quote, saying no one would ever give me that price. When I finally agreed to their price, they told me they were booked up, and they needed 2 weeks notice. I will never ever ever order a cake from such an unprofessional business. Terrible.
