The Children’s Gallery In Bellaire

My granddaughter went to CG (and was in Ms Mildred’s class). I live in the area and stopped in very often unannounced. What did I find every single time? Happy, content, well cared for children that were learning new things! I loved the smaller family run feeling. The owner Sue was very helpful and caring and perpetuated that «nothing to hide» open door feeling that made all the difference. Another thing I really liked was the kids wore tshirts on the playground and at lunch and the kids stayed so clean, Little thing but no ruined clothes with spagetti sauce, lol! Good hot meals included in tuition, btw.

I love this daycare. My daughter has been coming to this daycare for a few months now and I see such a difference in her. I was a stay at home mom and she did learn a lot with me however she has learned even more. They treat us like a part of their family. I drive 4 miles out of my way everyday because of this daycare! I love Ms. Mildred, the assistant directors, the director, EVERYONE!!! This would have been a very hard adjustment for me however Children’s Gallery made it so much easier and now I feel okay when leaving my baby with them! :)

Our family has been at The Gallery for over 5 years. Our children each started there at three months and I agree that the teachers and staff at TCG are like our family. For more than five years, every time I had a question, needed something or had a request it was always met with coorperation and understanding. My children love to go to «school» every day. My oldest has now moved on to a great private school pre-​K program and she was extremely well-​prepared for this next step — I attribute much of that to the amazing staff and the incredible directors.
They have been doing this a long time and as a result they know how to handle everything that gets thrown their way. They care deeply for my children and our family. These teachers attend birthday parties on the weekend when they are off, they ask with care and concern about former students, and they nuture and guide their students emotionally and physically.
I have a masters in education, I am an extreme Type A, organic loving mom and they make me happy and that says it all. All that said, I am not a helicopter, drama queen parent who thinks that my children are absolute angels everyday and anyone that disagrees is wrong. My kids have had «red» days and time outs and they learning from them and I was a part of the process every step of the way.
I firmly stand behind this school and their teachers and would reccomend them to my closest friends (and I have).

My son attended here when he was an infant. Ms. Barbara and Ms. Anna were so loving an awesome! We took him out when he was a year old so he could go to a school on our street, but we are returning even thought it is out of the way. Very great loving and learning environment!

I recently changed daycares for my 14 month old daughter. The last daycare that my daughter went to could not explain all the bumps and bruises that she would come home with, and with a huge unexplained bite mark on her back, I had had enough!
I toured The Children’s Gallery with the director Sue for two hours. She spent a lot of time and attention with me going over the activities, facilities and methods. I must say that I was EXTREMELY impressed with their program and faculty. At the end of the tour I remembered thinking to myself, «Oh man, how am I going to afford this place, it must cost a fortune!» When Sue told me that it would be $ 173/​week for my 14 month old, I was BLOWN AWAY. It was only $ 15 more per week than my last daycare, but with no TV babysitting the children and actual interaction and class structure!!!
I do not regret switching my daughter over. I would recommend this facility to other parents in a heartbeat!

I feel very fortunate that I found this daycare to put my son at when I went back to work after my mat leave.
I started researching daycares while I was still pregnant, and since I live in the Galleria area, and work in Greenway Plaza I wanted something close. So I went on line and narrowed all my choices down by who was willing to take a 6 wk old baby. When I went to visit the daycares (all unannouced), this was the only daycare that did not have all of the babies sitting in a bouncer, and they were all earily quite.
What a difference when I got to the Children’s Gallery! You heard the children talking and playing, and all of the babies in the baby rooms were on the floor playing and crawling around.
My baby has been going to the Children’s Gallery for a couple of months now, and one that I have noticed is that all of the Children/​Babies are always happy and smiling!

I chose the «Children’s Gallery» after an initial bad experience with another daycare. After the first I was extremely fearful & weary.
However, the staff at the Children’s Gallery in Bellaire have adopted a «family» feel to the daycare. I knew we were in the right hands after one visit!
I loved it here and would recommend this place to anyone that is very particular about their child’s care! This place is awesome!
