Four of us had a variety of dishes and they were all good. Prices were about $ 8 each which was a little high but the restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the food good quality. We would definitely go back

I feel I’m being generous giving 3 stars. 2 of us stopped in Sunday morning before heading downstate and were disappointed. The server was good but it was clear the kitchen staff had no idea what was going on. It took us about an hour to receive our meals (along with everyone else inside) which is way to long for 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns and a pancake. My fiancé received the wrong pancake after the wait but it wasn’t worth complaining or sticking around for a new one. Ohh yea by the way that ONE pancake was $ 4!!!
Won’t be returning.

This place is AWESOME! My husband and I were camping in Bellaire and decided to give this place a try for breakfast the first day we were there. We liked it so much we went the next day too!
On our second trip I tried the country style Eggs Benedict. It was great! Small place, friendly service and exceptional food. And affordable!

Great homemade food and the atmosphere feels like a family member’s house. Everyone knows each other and are happy to welcome visitors. Homemade bread and muffins are the icing on the cake.

The space is certainly small but the food was so good and the service was great. Love the personality in the place. I had a ham cheese and bacon omelette. With a banana nut muffin. You MUST have a muffin. Melt in your mouth amazing.

A cozy place run by a couple of locals. Only about 25 seats, seven or eight at the counter. Great atmosphere, even better cooking. Muffin and pancakes to die for, and real corned beef hash. After ordering the cb hash, you know a Reuben here would be a great lunch pick. Reasonably priced.

We went here based on previous Unilocal reviews and were so disappointed. The atmosphere was shabby. The service was slow and aloof — she never came back to check on us or refill coffee. The breakfast was so poor (over cooked eggs, undercooked bacon, soggy skillet) that we didn’t even eat it all. Not worth the drive.

This place is phenomenal. Did not have a single mediocre item of food — Biscuits and gravy, the kickin’ chicken sandwich, banana nut muffins, rhubarb pie — everything was fantastic. Loved the owners as well — fun to chat with while we ate :)

Amazing homestyle breakfast — everything is made to order and the baked goods are fresh made and fabulous. Owners, Dave and Julie, are friendly and helpful. Dave takes care of the front of the house and Julie cooks up a storm in the back. Very small, maybe 25 seats, but cozy with delicious food!

Always love stopping in here for lunch it breakfast! Dave & Julie put out a wonderful meal every time. Probably the best lunch menu in Antrim County for down home comfort food.
