Conde Cakes

DO NOT ORDER HERE! I went to the Bell location. I got ugly ass decorations, dry ass flavorless tres leches and to top it off rude ass service! Need I say more! Oh and this is a bakery? No bread in the shelves!!! WTH! The business looks old an dirty. I gave it a try anyway because I was referred here but I don’t understand how they are still in business. It was a cake for my God Daughters 4^th bday. I asked my husband to go pick it up, he said the lady was rude, busy but no need to be rude. The cake wasn’t even decorated! I was suppose to pick it up at 2:00 but she had suggested to pick it up the latest possible so it would stay refrigerated so he didn’t show up til 4:30 and it still wasn’t ready. The «Sticker» decoration of Peppa Pig was a print out on regular white paper! WHAT! The Placement of the «sticker» was so f’in RIDICULOUS! They should have told me it didn’t fit and I would have opted it out. Just plain ridiculous. To top it off 2 other customers picking up cakes were complaining about their cakes too. I was so upset when I saw it but when I tasted it I couldn’t wait to come home to write a review (2^nd review that I’ve written in my life). The tres leches cake was DRY! The few pieces that were soaked were so bland I would say it was a 1 leche cake. If I would have gone to pick it up I would have asked for my money back and gone to Food 4 Less to buy a cake there. It would have been a lot better in looks, taste and price!

By far the best Tres Leches cakes made in the L.A. area… only saying that because I drive from Las Vegas to have my parties here just so we can have their cakes… they also do excellent custom Cakes… we’ve had Mickey Mouse, Dinosaur and others.

The owners are rude with really bad customer service.. As I was eating my torta de cocinita she was screaming to one of there employees thats sucks… on the other hand there food and cakes (de 3 leches) are Bombay…

I’ve gone to this place since I was born! my mom always says how she would eat cake there when she was pregnant, and now I get to share this awesome place with friends and family! it’s the best cakes ever! no matter how far I live I always make my way back to this place for any cake that may be needed!!!
This is truly a must go too! somewhat of a hidden gem!

Best cake ever!!! I always order cakes from Conde in Bell. I lived in Inglewood and worth my drive to Bell just for the Pina and Coco cake I tell them not to wet as much. I tried the mocha not really liked.

Tres leches flan cake. That’s all you need to know about this place. Amazing combination of two traditional desserts. Call ahead as they don’t usually have it otherwise ready. Worth the drive!

The cakes they advertise are made by a third party baker. :-(plus pricing is ridiculously high.

I ordered a cake and picked it up same day. Cake was good. I would order again. Service was bad at 1^st but they made it up later because they knew that they weren’t all that courteous when I walked in. Over all. Good cake. Good cake

Absolutely the best. Been a long time customer ever since they first opened. Hadn’t been in a while and just went back for a recent birthday celebration. One of the best cakes we’ve had. To top it off, they have top notch customer service which is hard to find in this neck of the woods. They make sure to keep you as a customer. They got me, that’s for sure.

Conde cake has been here for quite a while already!.. My mom would always buy here when I wz little now I buy here all the time.

Classic Central American and Yucateca sweetbreads located in a mini mall city of Bell plenty of free parking just make sure you speak Spanish. My mother things they make the sweetbread tamales here just like back home.

Service was bad but the cakes were OK.

I’ve only been to this place once, a few years ago when I was working in the City of Bell. One of my students, one of my more challenging students, had mentioned that this place was owned by his family, and he said how good the pastries were. So, I mentioned that I would stop by and try it.
So, if you find yourself down at the bicycle card room with a hankering for some great tres leches cake, try Conde.
