Boba Loca

This place is not worth it. The past few times I’ve been there they don’t have boba… what the heck? Seriously! Boba is their first name and should be their specialty. Very inconvenient. Second, there is always one worker (the same Hispanic guy) and if you go during rush hour (high school kids out) he’ll be in a bad mood since he’s not only taking orders yet making the drinks as well. This place is overrated… I rather do a little driving and get a legit boba drink. Plus the prices ain’t that great, not for the service neither the drinks.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and I don’t recall ever having a bad experience. Yes the customer service isn’t outstanding but to be honest, I don’t care. I’m not there to have conversation or be friends with the staff I just want my drink, so as long as you’re not rude, creepy, or spitting in my drink, I’m fine. And I’ve never had a bad drink here. They’re always well blended, filled to the top, and super refreshing. I always get extra boba and My faves are probably the mango, taro, and cookies & cream.

My husband and I have been coming to this location for years now and yesterday had the worst experience. My husband ordered a Tapioca Milk Tea and my cup had a hole in the bottom. Which I’m probably sure the employee did not notice because I noticed once I started driving away, my car was all wet and myself too. I literally drove back to let the guy know what happened. (It was a matter of seconds.) So my husband gets down to let the employee know what happened and to my surprise he comes back with an almost empty cup. So the employee did not even offered him a new drink but just poured it to another cup. I know he tried but come on at least offer a new drink, I’m sure that I did not drink it all while having a hole in the the bottom in a matter of seconds. So I get off to let him know again to please give me a new drink. He literally did not like that I asked him that because of the expression he made. He was with an attitude so I’m sure I will not be going to this location anymore. I know that same employee has been working there for years and I’m sure he was having a bad day but me, as customer service rep if I’m having a bad day I don’t take it out on my customers as of course that will not be allowed in any Co. Sorry for the long review!

Drinks are good, but watch out because they add tap water to drinks. Every time I come I watch as the guy pours tap water in the blender, after I clearly told him not to do so. He tries to be discrete but I see him with the corner of my eye.

I Love the drinks here! Everything I’ve gotten here has been delicious!

Come here if you want your basic boba fix. You cant go wrong with the taro boba however, they do not give you a lot of boba unless you pay for extra. Thai tea boba is also good.

I have been coming twice a week for the past 4 months, it is usually amazing, but sometimes they get lazy and the drinks arent as good, anyway i love this place my top favorite drinks in order:
1.) Coconut Milk Tea
2.) Mango Fusion Tea with Strawberry Jelly
3.) Thai Milk Tea
4.) Mocha
5.) Taro Milk
(Some people love Honeydew Milk, although it disliked it and couldnt finish it)

The area is pretty clean, but the workers never smile and the fruits for the house special are never fresh!

Love coming to this spot. Especially my daughter loves spending my change on there coin machines. ..

I love the green tea frapp! It’s sooooo good. It’s usually not packed but there’s always people there. Like the boba but sometimes it’s undercooked. Lol I like when the little Asian lady makes it. But it’s almost always good :)

This is my favorite place to get boba, I would recommend this place :)

Drinks are good.
Caramel frapp and mocha loca are really good.
The workers aren’t very welcoming or friendly, but the service is quick.

I’ve given this place a chance probably about three times and I always regret it. When I have gotten boba, the boba is not chewy enough, seems like it’s been sitting for a long time. As for the teas, they are way too sweet and taste somewhat powdery, not how milk tea is supposed to taste. Also their tea selection is very limited. I’ve been to their location is Westwood and it’s definitely better!

OH MAH GAWD! i love me some boba, and now when I get that craving I know exactly where to go. This place has amazing flavors, and a ton of them at that. Peach mango with boba totally hit the spot, I could seriously drink it all day long. The only complaint is that this place was really hot on a hot day. Maybe get some AC? The back door was open and they had one fan on that was in their area, I get it, because they are the ones running around so it must be hot for them, but it was sort of unpleasant for me as well. But passing that aside, this place has some awesome boba!

This place is ok. The Mrs. and I stop by here when we’re craving a boba. Nothing special just simple quick service, simple décor, and plenty of parking.

I’ve been here Multiple of times. And every-​time I come I’m never disappointed. My favorite drink is Taro Milk slushi with extra boba! The bobas are delicious! Service at this place is Quick and Easy.

The Bobba is good and has expansive flavors and is very filling. The honeyd dew melon is good and they have several other flavors that will quench your thirst while you chew the things at the bottom. There are places to sit and enjoy a meal as well

Love love love love this place! It’s a cool place to hangout and relax. && the drinks are so good Definitely will go every time I’m in town!

In my neck of the woods, which happens to be around this area, it is often quite rare to find a place that sells boba milk tea. Enter however, Boba Loca.
Boba Loca is located in a shopping center on the corner of Atlantic and Gage Ave. During the summer is when I frequent this location more so often. They have an array of different flavors here, my personal favorite being the honeydew milk tea boba. I am not one to ask for light boba! The more, the better. The guy that works here is usually very attentive with his clients. It is small inside with a few couches and tables. Probably 10 people the most can fill the place up inside to capacity.
Overall, I am a fan and do return every now and then to satisfy my boba craving. I have never had a complaint. They do however have a computer that is free to use for all customers. Just don’t expect it to ever be empty because the local kids come in and waste their time checking up on their facebook or what not!
