Carnitas Michoacanas

Decided to try the carne asada nachos. I was not disappointed, the nachos were delicious and they give a great portion of meat. 4 stars because the beans are not refried beans.

There is a lot of taco/​burrito places here in bell gardens, but this is the place the is most geographically desirable to my house. If you ever come here make sure to try the carne asada burritos. They are pretty good because of all of the ingredients and seasoning they add. Make sure to check out the agua de horchata it’s real good. If you aren’t in the mood for burritos please try the tacos it’s like a mini appetizer. Overall the place is average, a place where I would go again often.

Solid 4 stars. Food is above average. Service is friendly, friendly enough, and quick. Good spot for quick lunch. Nachos, burritos and tacos are all great. In Bell Gardens I’d have to say this is the best spot for good quick mexican food.

I’ve lived in Bell Gardens for 8 years now and been looking for a good burrito spot… I found it!
I’m a carne asada guy. I’ve past this place many times and never stopped because of the parking… this time I decided to stop and try a burrito… Wow! The carne asada burrito was delicious. .not too big or small. just pefect. I’m definitely going to come back again.

I have tried their food and no complains. Ordered a burrito Al Pastor and it was seriously filled more than ²⁄₃ of grilled ONIONS. i know al pastor comes with them for flavor, but c’mon all of it? wouldnt order that one again, EVER.

I used to work in the local area to this restaurant. When I was working in this area I would frequent this place almost weekly. It has been 10 years since I left the area, this was my first trip back since that time… nothing has changed. The priced might have gone up slightly in that 10 years but not proportionate to everything else.
It is still amazing. The meats are perfect, the portions are very generous the service is always friendly. We had a carnitas burrito and a carne asada burrito. More than enough food. The order was ready in just a few minutes. The cooks in the back are really moving back there banging out those order.
If you are in the area and like good Mexican food, you owe yourself a trip to this place. The parking lot can be a little busy at times but the food makes it all worth it.
After refreshing my memory for how good this place is I will not let another 10 years go by before I am back here for some of their delicious cuisine. It is a very simple place, order at the counter and they will bring your order out to your table. They have self-​serve carrots and radishes which are amazing too.
Do yourself a favor and stop by for a few tacos!

Bell Gardens is saturated with taco shops and I’ve tried quite a few of them. But, I always find myself back at this spot because the tacos are consistently delicious, the service is quick and the owners are super friendly. All of their meat is seasoned so well that it doesn’t even need extra sauce to add more flavor. I’ve also tried their burrito and menudo and was pleased with the outcome. It’s always great to support local businesses and this is definitely one that is worth going to!

I had the 5 tacos special based on a review. Very tasty and plenty of meat. Would definitely recommend it.

The tacos and everything else I’ve tried here are great. Friendly service and orders are made quickly. Any commerce workers should stop by here! Nachos are great as well. I have been short a couple cents a few times and they tell you not to worry about it. Feel welcome here.

Today I ordered 5 chicken burritos, 2 carne asada burritos, 1 al pastor burrito, 10 assorted tacos, and 2 quesadillas around 5pm. It took them less than 25 minutes to complete the order, I didn’t call ahead because it was the first time we were trying this place.
The food was good, but the price was great! The service was great too, the cashier packed us salsas and utensils and everything we needed, we didn’t even need to ask. She bagged and boxed everything for us perfectly! She was super nice and patient when I was making the order too.
I would definitely order from here again, it is cash only. All my coworkers liked the food, and the portions are huge. We were late the first week of every month so food is provided, this place is nice quick and yummy!

My husband and I were in the area and decided we wanted tacos. We passed by a Carnitas Michoan and I was thrilled beyond belief until we got lost and couldn’t find it. After some Google searching we drove to this place and were glad we got lost.
I ordered a carne asada and carnitas taco. My better half ordered barbacoa and shrimp ceviche to share. The portion of protein was out of control, but I wished they gave a little bit more cilantro. Ceviche was okay. We felt like the shrimp was rubbery and it needed some extra umph to it.
The best thing? Hands down, the barbacoa. It was flavorful and the tortilla was slightly fried.
Service was great and we enjoyed our food!

This place has excellent food. Burritos are awesome. We are hooked on the Veggie burritos. Excellent array of flavors with generous amounts of guacamole and sour cream in it. Just tried their Chicken enchiladas. Another winning dish. They really know how to cook there. Lots of flavor. Love the sauce. Lots of shredded lettuce with guacamole and tomatoes on the side. Eat it by itself or mix it in. Very good. Reasonable prices. Best Mexican food value anywhere. Used to go to to El Picante for good Mexican food but this place is way better and costs a lot less. It is a plain looking place, but the food is tops. Nice people, great service too.

Just went to this place for the first time today during lunch. I must say their food really is tastey. Their prices are very reasonable for the quantity and the quailty of food you are recieving. The staff is really friendly and they are very quick at getting your food out to you. The burritos are so delicious and so are the nachos. I would definietly go there again.
The only down side is that they are a cash only place.

This has been my taco shop for many years now. I work in Commerce and I love this place! Their asada plates are amazing and extremely affordable as well! The staff is very nice and will pretty much make you anything you want!
I suggest getting there a little bit before/​after lunch hours or you can also call in your order. Enjoy!

I’ve ordered two things from here: nachos, and carne asada tacos.
I love them both. You have the option of adding meat to the nachos, comes with sour cream, cheese, onions, cilantro, and 2 slices of tomatoes. The sliced tomatoes are kind of point less. I love pouring their hot sauce on it.
The taco is your typical «taco truck» taco with carne asada (or whatever meat you choose) finely chopped. I love their carne asada, it’s flavorful, well seasoned.
They have a condiment section with whole jalapenos and pickled carrot slices.

The place looks bad, but the tacos are good! They have a lunch special for 5 tacos for $ 5. I got 3 de asada and 2 de pollo. Men they are good! The salsa can be better, but the tacos are good. The lady there was very helpful as well, she took the order and took the food over to us. I really enjoyed my lunch. Plenty of parking too! The bad thing is that is is cash ONLY!
