This is without much doubt the nicest course in the great Augusta area. Play it, love it, enjoy the view. It is also a real fun and challenging course.

This course consistently makes the«top» lists by golf publications and for good reason. The scenery is breathtaking and varied. Cours has an amazing layout with water, sand and trees. Par 7171.6÷146 so it’s plenty challenging. Worth taking the trip and while there go get a meal of duck at the inn. It’s amazing too Sept 2015: update. Still one of the prettiest courses around and so immaculately maintained. The staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. Gold is what they do and they love the fact that golfer travel here to play. Worth every dime

I had been hearing about this for years, and only got around to playing it this fall. In a word, wow. Strikingly beautiful, absolutely impeccable condition, highly playable yet still challenging layout, and two great finishing holes. This is a fine example of how golf courses should be and is easily one of the best in New England.
