Although the bag of Grove Charcoal was as excellent as expected, the interaction I had with the clerk behind the counter (owner?) was not. While ringing up the purchase he told a racist joke. I let him know I didn’t appreciate it and he said that I «probably voted for Obama.» I told him it was none of his business. I guess that although I am the same color as he, he was upset that I am not the fellow traveler that he presumed I was.
