R & R Sport Shop

I’ve made two major purchases at R&R, and each time the staff who helped me (Jim and Ken) were informative, very patient, and helpful, they spent a lot of time helping me out with my purchase despite my relative lack of experience.
They have a good selection of new and used firearms as well as bows and archery equipment. Prices seem fair, especially compared to the few other sport shops in W. Mass.

The guy in the bow shop is great! Very helpful. I spend about 1,000 a year in here. I have always known the guys in the gun shop are a little cranky. But they usually have what you need. I went there recently and asked about a gun. Rich the owner sitting at his computer helped me a little then said I have to look it up. So I walked around the store and waited. About 10 min later a employee at the gun counter asked if I needed a hand. I said no I’m all set. Then rich speaks up and says «oh I’m not looking for that right now. I’m doing something. I have to make a living you know.» Was very rude. Then tells me I have a gun in the case. I said can I see it. Response «well that’s $ 1100.» I responded ok so can I see it. You could tell he was aggravated to have to get up and walk to case. A employee spoke up and tried to help but was not much help. He was just as snotty with his response. I went in there completely wanting a new rifle. Was willing to make changes on the caliber with some good advice. They where completely rude. Made me feel like a idiot for asking questions about guns. It’s ashame the gentleman in the bow shop works here. Would love to give my business to him. But r&r will absolutely never get another dollar of mine or any of my buddy’s. No way to act towards any customer. I never write reviews about anything but had to in this case. Bring your business somewhere it is appreciated

Wow… These reviews must be from experienced customers. If your a regular customer just going in for bait or Shriners and ask a simple question., Most likely you will get a snotty look or a snotty response. I give one star for the location. … Next to dunkin donuts ! I’ll get bait at town mart !

Four and half stars. A great local gun and outdoor shop. Awesome displays and the staff knows it’s stuff and there is usually a good selection of firearms. Really good archery equipment and the staff is top notch, I wouldn’t go anywhere else if you’re looking for a bow or crossbow.
If I had any cons: the staff is knowledgable and courteous, but not exactly «cheery».

Rich went above and beyond helping me find a gun for my daughter. I really appreciated how well he treated me.
I agree that i don’t think they appreciate being lowballed down there. But i found them to be exceptionally fair.

Staff was helpful, especially me being inexperienced. They answered my questions, were helpful in spending time with me breaking down tbe weapon, and steered me in the right direction on the right gun for me. Fair prices, good inventory, and helpful staff. I wouldnt hesitate to go back and give a local shop my business again.

Very nice staff. They will answer any questions you have and are are to the point. No bull crap here. But just like the other reviewer said «mind your manners» it is very old school. I have a feeling that if you low ball the guy when you want buy used wares he will throw you the hell out. I think that’s how it should be. I go in there a few times a month to get supply’s for fishing. Any questions I have get answered. I always get what I need. I do wish they had a bigger salt water fishing supply though.

Probably one of the nicest gun and archery shops in the area though I have not been to Ware yet. I dropped by to buy ammo the other day, stuff that was supposedly hard to find and the had received a large order of it. And the price was right! Very helpful and courteous. This is old school so mind your manners!
They also have a decent selection of live bait, fishing supplies and entire section just for archery. There are used bows and used guns a plenty.
