Sleepy’s

After I wrote the last negative but true review of Sleepy’s, their customer service contacted me about it and send me two cheap pillows as a way of trying to appease me. I thought it was pretty pathetic and in no way made up for their deceptive sales tactic that has caused nothing but problems and me still being stuck with a very expensive mattress that I can’t sleep on or sell. It is still leaning against my bedroom wall as I try to sell it. The one I ended up being stuck with cost 2,400.00 (after being allowed to exchange the 3,400.+ bed for it) and I can’t even sell it on ebay and craigslist for 800.00. What a mess. Oh, and yes, I am talking about the same sales person that I praised in my very first review, who never told me I didn’t have a 30 day trial even though he says he did. Of course he had to after what happened or I’m sure he would probably be in trouble with his superiors.

We had the best mattress purchasing experience ever at Sleepys!
We knew exactly what we were looking for and had a budget in mind. We walked into Sleepy’s at Baltimore Pike and Route 24 and spent some time roaming around, looking at the store’s selection. Wow. the inventory is extremely versatile and there’s a lot of selection. Upon entering the store, there were really no high pressure sales tactics and no annoying salespeople following your every move like at other stores.
We found the mattress set and were pleased to find it on sale (under budget for us!). The sales associate was extremely knowledgeable and showed us how the mattress we selected compared with other mattresses (foam bumper vs no bumper, 700 coils vs 800 coils). Our sales associate was able to guarantee next-​day delivery, and get us deals on a bedframe and sheet set.
Where do I sign?
It really was an extremely painless, reasonable, budget-​friendly, and pleasant experience. Who knows, maybe one of other mattresses will need replacing in a few years. If that happens, we will definitely return to Sleepy’s.
