By far the worst supermarket I’ve ever been to and will never go again. It was convenient because it was the closest supermarket or else I would have stopped going sooner. A lot of the staff is very rude, the younger workers tend to be much much nicer than most of the older staff so I will give them that.
The biggest issue is the misrepresentation on price. They constantly do not take sales sign down in time. They also place them up and many times they are placed under the wrong product. You have to watch them ring up every single item to make sure price is correct. I’ve never had to do this anywhere before. I think it is intentional because over a period of time it is hard to believe this is just simple negligence. It’s bound to happen from time to time, but shouldn’t occur almost every time you visit a store. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would receive a call back, never happened. I contacted corporate and never got anything back. I would always make them wait until I scanned club card before I let them start ringing up items just to make sure everything did ring up correctly.
This review is specific to this Safeway store. Other ones don’t have these issues. They are also almost always on the expensive side unless items are on sale and for the sale you have to a club member. This might be alright if they didn’t constantly mark the wrong items.
The only way you can check the sales tag is correct is by trying to match up UPC codes between tag and product. Don’t know about anyone else but I don’t want to have to do this every visit to a store.
Take my word for it, even if convenient, you are much better off going to one of the other grocery stores that are within 5 miles. Much better staff, better prices, and items are actually marked correctly.

Clean, great customer service, and they offer a good variety of products. However, in my opinion, they are a tad too expensive for your everyday grocery shopping trip.

Very clean and well organized store. Kind of crowded with the amount of freestanding stuff they have.
