Came here recently for a date night. My boyfriend and I love coming here for the rooftop patio. The servers and bartenders are always courteous and attentive. Food is amazing and NEVER disappoints. I had the chicken florentine the last trip and omg, the portion was massive and delicious! Our top pick on where to go out. But the bathroom on the top patio could be cleaner or re done. Probably my only complaint.

Food was terrible, service was terrible. you’d think for a decent price you’d get a decent meal but calimari was chewy and essentially inedible. In terms of dining in Bel Air there are much better places. Also, in terms of going out in Bel Air choices are much better too… the bartenders/bouncers/management hear is ornery at best and always seems to have some rude comment to say to patrons. I don’t know why I spent my $ here when I was treated like that but yeah. I won’t be back. Magerks & Looney’s are much better experiences. surprised this place is still even in business. the location has such potential for a great restaurant. what a waste :( Also reading down the other Unilocal reviews it seems my negative views on service/food are fairly consensus across the board.

I can’t speak for the food because we turned around and left because of how dirty the restaurant was. Torn seats at every booth and every chair and the place just smelled horrible. I would hate to think of how the kitchen looked if that is how they keep the restaurant! Clean the place, people! First impressions are everything. GROSS!

The breakfast was on point. Delicious omelettes and crepes. Mimosas were good too. Not too weak. The experience would have been so much greater if it wasn’t for the worst waitress there — Cassie. She barely came back to check on us to refill our coffee and mimosas. We had to ask for someone else to help so we could pay. I wouldn’t go back because of the terrible service. The stars are for the chef who did a superb job.

Poor atmosphere, rude snide service, over priced drinks. It’s like one giant click and if you aren’t in the club you aren’t welcome. I’m going to call it, will not be back.

Decent food, great service by the bartender. Everyone knows everyone which is always fun for a bar atmosphere. I’d definitely go back. I’d probably give it 3.5 stars

The«Tower» is my comfort zone when in Bel Air, Maryland … good food & occasional pretty good customers are the strong features … Mario the owner is a «make it happen» kinda guy, BUT his bartender staff is is perhaps the WIRST if the 283 bars I have experienced in the USA over the last 12 months! bartender Christina is «horrible!» ., i am sure she actually«thinks» she is good though & the customer is the problem

Great rooftop for live music, people watching on Main St., or meeting a group. Front bar area can be a lot of fun with the right two or three piece band as well. Easy parking.

I have been here twice. Once for a birthday party and last night we went there again for dinner and drinks. We had a wonderful time both times. Their orange crush is delicious! Their seafood nachos is to die for! There were enough toppings of cheese, shrimp and crab dip… I wish they would have more jalapeños on it though. We also ordered garlic parmigiana wings, the flavor was awesome but the wings were fried too hard for me. The last thing we ordered was the Tower cheese steak wrap. I really liked that. We will be back!

Amazing live music! Two options for outdoor seating(upstairs deck or Main Street patio). They ONLY do fresh seafood, so come early to make sure you can experience the amazing fresh mussels, crabs, oysters and shrimp. I grew up on the Bay, but this is the best seafood hands down. There is also authentic Italian cuisine. If you have a dietary requirement the owner himself comes out to make sure he is meeting your needs and still making amazing food. The service staff is ALWAYS nice and very accommodating of my autistic son. The staff always gets excited with us when we try something new. Dishes are very well priced. This is my favorite place to eat dinner in Bel Air!

The cream of crab soup was beige…(from use of Old Bay) and tasted primarily of potatoes – ick. The atmosphere is terrible, unless your senses enjoy being assaulted by the constant stimuli of network television… Every table gets its own tv monitor; I’m not sure why. Then, just in case you’re starved for *more* mass-market claptrap, there are huge televisions mounted throughout the establishment. Yuck. No thank you. Not going back.

The Wednesday $ 10 specials are very good. My favorite is the Chicken Marsala.

We recently held a catered event at the tower. All in all the event went well. The food was well prepared and the presentation was nice. We were pleased with our service. This review concerns the conditions of the space. The chairs in their catering room are very dirty. I did not notice this on our initial walk through. They have old covers from the 90’s which are tattered and unkempt. The ferns in the corners of the rooms are coated with dust and really everything could use a quick scrub. The service area for the beverages and food was filthy and littered with boxes and unused bar décor. This space needs to be cleaned out and minimized. I am always shocked when I see a coat rack with mismatching plastic and metal hangers littering the entrance to a venue. The fix is simple, buy hangers that match! The entrance should not be an eyesore. I was surprised to see that some employees are wearing one uniform and others were wearing shirts from the pizza place down the street. That would be fine, you just don’t know who is available to help you. This could be a great location if a few minor tweaks were made.

Came in for drinks and appetizers with some friends. A band was playing with no cover and the sound quality really was pretty good. A lot of restaurants just don’t have the acoustics for live music but it sounded pretty good. Service was quick and I thought the appetizers we had were excellent. Some of my friends who had been here before said the menu had changed and that the food was much better than they remembered. Our service was good though the waiter had a little attitude. He was«politely impatient» is I guess the way to put it. He also told us we were making him earn his tip when we split the bill. Service was good, just a little unprofessional. The food was good. I loved the atmosphere. I’ll probably go back.

I am writing this to inform Unilocal readers of our serious change of heart, and to heartily recommend the Main Street Tower — for two or for a group(there were several parties toward the back of the room, all enjoying themselves tremendously… but not loudly!) We had been to this restaurant in the past, and enjoyed fine service and fine food. Despite a negative dinner experience the previous week, we decided to try their Sunday Brunch, in anticipation of bringing visiting company at a later date. To our delight, we found pretty much the opposite from that poor experience: The Brunch staff were professional, efficient, friendly, helpful both to diners and to each other. This is a great sign of a great attitude. We kept saying to each other, this can’t be the same restaurant, this is great, we need to tell others about the brunch in particular… and take the opportunity to study the dinner menu while you’re there! We had a wonderful time.

I’ve tried to love the new menu, but I just can’t. It doesn’t taste as well as I remember. They do have a rewards program but I’ve never been able to receive anything more than a hassle from it since there is frequently an unknown error that causes them to ask me for my info so they can add me to the system. In general, using any coupon or promotion means you will pay full price and not the advertised specials. Also, if you’re eligible for a Government discount, it’s only offered during lunchtime, which is cool because I’m only hungry when they serve lunch anyway. It’s increasingly noticeable that the atmosphere isn’t quite right; the acoustics are off and some of the floor staff makes no effort to hide their shadyness. Sadly, it seems less welcoming than when I first started coming here years ago and I can no longer say that this is my favorite place to eat. However, their late night dance parties are a great deal if you remember to wear earplugs. You will know there is a party there because the music can be heard(at perfect pitch) from the sidewalk.

The only good food I’ve eaten here was the wings. The crab was clearly imitation, there was bacon bits in the pasta, the food was almost cold upon delivery, and the décor inside left me confused and reminded me of a 1970’s motel conference room. It was uninspired. There’s better places to eat in Bel Air. Go elsewhere!

The first thing I want to say is that although we only gave this place a 3, nothing was particularly objectionable, nothing was outstanding either. Our server was new and wavered between sacarine sweet and missing in action. The mussels in white sauce were actually very good. The crab cakes were up to par and the salads were fresh and full. However, the dressings left us flat. The desert cannollis had a pleasing touch of mint. The inside was broken into several smaller seating areas, which served our purposes, but could end up making you feel alone. Overall, not bad. We would return if in the area, but would not go out of our way to go there.

Friendly server, but we went for lunch, and I’ve got to say… the paninis weren’t something that couldn’t be gotten at a panera bread. The salad was very generic and the dressing clearly bottled. I didn’t see anything that couldn’t be had somewhere else and be done better. What can I say… Unilocal has the right of it with 2 stars… «meh, I’ve experienced better».
