Doc Kristen and the whole Homeward Bound crew are the best. They go above and beyond what I have experienced at any other veterinarian facility. As far as our animals are concerned, they have done everything as simple as shots, spaying and neutering to sick examines and most recently, taken on a very serious and complicated surgery in which they have never actually done (but have stood in on). Our Boo Boo (8 year old yellow lab) had serious crystals in his bladder. With further observation, they found that one of his kidneys was not even functioning anymore and needed to be removed along with the ureter connected to it. Well, we prayed that the surgery would go well and it did. The whole time as he was recovering from his 6 or so hour surgery, they kept in constant contact with me. I would text them pics of his stitched areas and of his gums to make sure he was not having any internal problems. And for most of the night I stayed up giving them updates and soforth. What Vet and their crew would do that? It’s been the better part of a year now and our Boo Boo is still doing great!
I can not emphasize enough as to how awesome these folks are. Your pet deserves to go to them and at the very least you owe it to your pet. Kari Addison
