Food is okay, coupons are a great deal, and the waitresses are friendly. All around good deal for avg food.

This Place is very dirty, service is bad. Servers don’t seem to take job seriously. Needs new Managment and to be cleaned!

Everytime I come here for carry out ice cream it is incredibly slow. There’s no one in the place I see staff standing out back smoking. This is absolutely the worst carry out Friendlys experience I’ve ever had. I normally go to Newark Delaware and it’s super fast and everybody is very attentive.

The food was good, server was very nice, service was semi fast. The reason I’m reviewing at all is because the tables and floors needed cleaning and you can hear the conversation coming from the kitchen. I just want a bite to eat with my kid, I don’t want to hear you talk about did you clean the bathroom yet or «oh someone came in.»

The ice cream is good, without a doubt. But plan about 45 minutes for food on a Tuesday night. Slow service… I’ll be hesitant in returning.

I’m not impressed so far but my breakfast hasn’t arrived. A limited breakfast menu at a diner? Dirty tables, dirty carpet, this place is beyond cleaning. Avoid.

This Friendly’s is good, but not great. I don’t live around here so when I’m here, I try to hit up Friendly’s as much as possible, so I somehow ended up going there three times over the course of two days. For two of those times, the service was good. Not the most friendly waitress but she at least knew the menu and everything. However, one of the times one of our items was wrong. We let her know as soon as it arrived, and it took so long for the corrected one to come out, the other diner was completely done with their meal. That’s just ridiculous. They weren’t even busy! The third time, I don’t know if our waitress was just new or what, but she didn’t seem to get some of the basics of waitressing, like what’s on the menu and also that you need to check on your customers more than once every 20 minutes. I shouldn’t have to go find you when you’re just standing in the kitchen to tell you I ordered a bowl of soup and was given a cup. Also, we got ice cream and even though for one of them there wasn’t any hot fudge ordered in the sundae or even any chocolate ice cream, there was… a drop of something brown that I sure hope was hot fudge at the bottom of the dish. I didn’t notice it until I was 90% done with my ice cream. It sure ruined the dessert. The only reason I gave it four stars is the first two times, the service was good(it wasn’t her fault they screwed up our order) and the food was always good.

This friendly’s was ok. Quite clean and all. I went in, alone, hoping there was a counter, but there wasn’t, so I was seated at a table by myself. I waited for like, 15 minutes til a waitress walked over and says, «Someone is helping you, right?» Me: Looks around at lack of drink or meal… «Nope, not yet» Waitress: «O, what can I get for you today?» I ordered a BBQ Chicken melt(There was a deal with a drink and a sundae for $ 9.99). My drink came out quickly, and my meal not too long thereafter. My food came out quicker than any food at any Friendly’s I’ve ever been to in the history of ever. Seriously. Anyway, my food was good, but I, being a fool, forgot the most important rule that they teach Friendly’s kitchen staff: When in doubt, add mayonnaise to everything. So, my sandwich, which was basically bbq dipped chicken strips inside a grilled cheese with bacon? Of course they should put mayonnaise on it, who wouldn’t? Since it wasn’t a lot of mayo, I didn’t send it back(or even complain actually, I know they would have made me a new one, but it wasn’t worth it… I was feeling magnanimous). And it still tasted pretty good. But it certainly didn’t require mayo. Anyway, my food was good(once you got past the mayo), the service was fast(once it had engaged it’s brain a bit and realized I was there), my ice cream was… exactly what I expected. O! And they have a big giant sign up that says if your wait staff does not ask you if you want an appetizer you get one free… But like I said before, I was feeling magnanimous(I wasn’t asked), and didn’t feel like costing the poor waitress more than I would be tipping her to benefit myself. I must be a decent person or something.
