Rigby Advanced Dental

Dr. Rigby seems like an outstanding dentist. I went there for a cleaning/​checkup as well as a second opinion on a cavity done by another dentist. I was impressed by Dr. Rigby’s knowledge, confidence, and attention to detail. Terrific. In addition, the hygienist used hypermodern water-​squirting equipment to clean my teeth which took out all coffee stains and left them incredibly white. Great.
My only complaint is the billing. While I was there, the receptionist called my insurance to see what was covered, and told me that all I had to do was make a $ 20 copay, which I gladly did.
Imagine my surprise a couple months later, when I received a bill for $ 347, as well as a phone call from a staff member aggressively demanding payment and threatening to send me to collections.
When I told this person that their receptionist had reassured me that I did not need to pay more than $ 20, and it was already taken care of, this person got very angry and basically said «some of our people are in training, sorry they told you the wrong thing, but you need to pay us.» This attitude was all wrong, very accusatory, and I really did not appreciate it. I did everything I was supposed to, in terms of checking coverage with my insurance, and asking their office if I was covered. When push came to shove, they did not stand behind their staff’s assurance that my insurance coverage was good. If their receptionist made a mistake, then it’s not my fault, and it’s not my fault if the receptionist was in training and didn’t know what to do. All employees represent the practice, or so I would think.
The dental care itself was outstanding. No complaints there. But I sure hope other people have better experiences with billing than I did.

My husband and I have been patients with Dr. Brent Rigby since year 2011 – 2012 and it is now 2016. We are both so happy that we are so lucky to have found such an amazing and wonderful dentist and his delightful team to take care of our dental needs. They treat you like family, approach you with smiles and are very caring of your dental needs and care. They explain everything thourghly, very professional in a relaxed modern atmosphere with an up to date office. They treat you as if you are their number one patient when you are in their care and they never treat you as if they are rushed or rushing you out of their office. They take time with their patients and always tell you to call should you have a problem of any kind with your dental work that has been done or with any dental care that is needed. Dr. Rigby’s office is very organized and prompt with their patients and the patient is told up front what to expect ahead of time with costs and insurance is handled in a timely manner. His team is highly qualified in every area to do the job right. We have always been satisfied with our care at this office and would highly recommend Dr. Brent Rigby for your dental needs and can say Dr. Rigby and his team are very honest and trustworthy people. This is so important when looking for a doctor. This is the kind of doctor that you hang on to for dear life so you don’t loose them for whatever the reason may be. Dr. Rigby and his wife are very family oriented along with having their own little cute family. Mrs. Rigby is at the office at times and is such a sweet welcoming person to their patients also. Although, I’m sure their growing family keeps her busier these days. She has a radiant and beautiful personality also! I will tell you that my husband and I are very picky people when selecting who is going to care for our dental and health needs. I hope this review will help those of you looking for a Dentist and his team that has all the bells and whistles you deserve as a patient and someone you know that is honest and that you can trust. I will give Dr. Rigby 5 Stars for review.

I have had the best experience at this dentist office! I was a little embarrassed and nervous for my first trip because I have not been to the Dentist in a long time! The team here is just so nice and professional! Aimee is my new Dental Hygienist and she has been amazing! She always makes me feel calm and comfortable! Dr. Rigby is very easy to talk to and he has helped me get on the right track to taking care of my smile! And Donah has been so nice and helpful with helping me get signed up for Care Credit! I could not be happier with my experience here and I highly recommend them!

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any dental establishment. I highly recommend this practice. Everyone was nice and courteous. I never do Unilocal reviews but the experience was so good here I had to tell the good news. Definitely a WOW experience.

I took our teenage son for his 2^nd visit. I was impressed again seldom do dental offices run on time. They were polite and professional when I called to schedule and also when I brought him in, they had already verified insurance and I didn’t have to fill out tons of forms. My son did not complain he had a cleaning and a filling this visit and both appointments were right on time. They did a very good job cleaning and his cavity was superficial enough that he didn’t require too much numbing (like most he hates that part). Kudos to the professional and kind staff and the way this office is run.
