I went to this establishment to shop for frames & lenses only. I was not a patient of the doctor there. The lady working in the frame shop was one of the rudest, most indifferent and least helpful people I’ve ever encountered in my life. They close for lunch between 1pm and 2pm and that’s clearly marked on the front door when one walks in. I arrived at 12:40pm with the thought in mind as I walked in seeing this sign that I’d just take a brief look at what they had and ask one or two questions if applicable. As soon as I walked in she stated«we have a break at 1.» She then asked if I was a patient and I told her I already had a prescription and was looking for frames. She said to look around. There was no further assistance or conversation until 12:53 when she came to me with a business card saying«ok, we’re closed tomorrow, here’s our card with our hours.» At the same time she used a rubber stamp on the card which said«Closed Wednesday». I said aren’t you open after your one hour break and she looked at me indignantly as if I was asking for her last breath of air. God forbid she may have to do some work by helping a potential customer, ask what I was looking for or just display some common courtesy. I hadn’t planned on overstaying my «welcome» anyway but I was essentially brusquely shown the door with the unstated yet clear intention that even though it’s not 1pm yet I’ve gotta get you outta here so I can have my break. I’m sure she has some physical condition that requires her to strap on the feedbag at exactly 1pm each day lest she pass out. So stay away. The selection of men’s frames is not extensive, the help is non-existent and I’d never spend my money there, nor should you. Just to emphasize, I know nothing about the doctor there… he may very well be a great guy/practitioner.

Dr. Sullivan is great and very good with children. The whole staff is welcoming and very nice. Karen at the Optical Shop is amazing at picking out the most flattering frames for your face.
