Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford

Visiting an ER during holidays especially Thanksgiving is not fun. Especially that I flew all the way from California. Unfortunately, I did.
I twisted my ankle during a Turkey Trot and darn, it hurts like crazy. Organizer from the event didn’t have any emergency kit. I was lucky that there were plenty of hospitable Texan people who helped me to survive. My husband and his step mom brought me here before we carve the turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.
I was scared plus it’s a hassle. Never visited an ER most of my life. Staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I was the first patient for the day and only patient so far. Oh my, I feel so special. The place is really squeaky clean. I can’t count as to how many staff checked on me if everything was alright. Someone will conduct an X-​ray to me twice, I think that’s too much. Even doctors, quite a few went to check on me to think that I only had a twisted ankle. The facility here is really amazing.
Luckily, I survived and no broken bone. I came home with a new pair of boots, swollen ankle, scratched and wounded knees. As much as I love the ambience here, I don’t want to come back in an ER… unless it’s really an emergency.

ER staff was amazing!
I was treated with respect and empathy the entire time.
I arrived early morning today with severe pain being caused from my back.
Dr. Pillow had a great bedside manner. He was quick to get me relief, get a diagnosis, and worked toward a overall solution.
Melissa my ER nurse was phenomenal!
She was always timely, great communication and truly displayed «treat others as you want to be treated.»
The lady from MRI was very nice and treated me with gentle hands.
I hope I never have to go back to an ER but if I do this is the one.
Only drawback was trying to leave feedback on the hospitals website but the «I’m not a robot» function wasn’t working.
Overall, great to be treated by people who apparently love their work and most likely like where they work!

For mental health, go elsewhere. You’ll especially love the flickering fluorescent lights in the lobby and the intercom blasted at the highest volume. Not conducive to healing.

Compassionate! Profesional! Outstanding! Loving! Words cannot explain how great the 5^th floor was to me, and my wife that stayed with me. Francine — Rosa — Audrey — Marianna. Wish I could remember all their names. They were such special people. When i was given the news i had lung cancer. They were so supportive to my wife and family and also to me. I was ready to fight this battle when i left. They are truly Angels on earth. Only Angels can be that loving and caring toward others. And even those in the E.R. are as great. H.E.B hospital has employed outstanding care takers and is in a class all by it’s self. Even the ones that bring your food tray are so kind!!! HEB HARRIS I thank you for everything! God Bless every one! Know one likes to be sick. But i promise there is no better place to be if you are!

My boyfriend had the stomach pains, vomiting, and body aches.
It was 10pm, and it was quick and easy.
The doctor the symptoms sounded like a stomach virus, and a flu.
The blood test showed that he basically had the stomach flu.
So quick and easy, told him the pills he should take.
In and out, and left.
Everything was fast, the only wait was for the blood test results.
The doctors were nice, and the nurse we had was nice.
I’m not sure what her name was but she had a anchor tattoo and told us about it.
She was a sweet heart, making jokes, and making sure my boyfriend was comfortable.
I always go to parkland, so its scary. And the nurses are extremely rude.
Buts its dtown, and old… So its not really much high expectations.
Anyways, love the staff and how fast they are.
The medication he was prescribed fixed him up in a day.

I delivered my baby here and on the day of delivery I had a great nurse and nice room. However, the day before that I had a very bad experience. I went in due to my contractions. The nurse who saw me was very rude. I mentioned to her I haven’t been able to sleep she proceeded and gave me not one, but TWO ambien (keep in mind I’ve never taken sleeping pills) I told her that and she guaranteed it would help me sleep. She made me take it in front of her. Anyway, she discharged me and told me I had another week left. Well that’s not true —I delivered the next day! I acted like a zombie when I came home! Ambien did NOT make me sleep it made me crazy!!!
Fast forward 8 months Texas Health Harris also messed up my credit!!! I happened to check my credit report and noticed a bill from them that went to collections. Keep in mind, I’m very responsible… I’ve already received and was paying all my hospital bills. I called them and they said they had the wrong city and received it return to sender. No one ever called me!!! How would i know if no one calls me??? So my credit dropped 40 points because of THIER error. I’ve called and tried to speak to a supervisor and it took me FOUR days to speak to someone. They just recalled it from the credit report but that process can take 30 days or longer. I asked if I could at least get a discount or something! I had good credit before this and now it’s not. They weren’t apologetic or anything! They told me they don’t give any discounts. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Mom is here for surgery for her breast cancer, and got to say the service is pretty good.
The nurses were pretty attentive and helped my mom out.
The room is pretty clean and large enough to have a family there to talk and chat with the patients.
From the short experience we have had this service is good and if we had to come back this would be a good hospital to come back to.

My husband arrived at the HEB HHM emergency room via ambulance and got immediate care. The nurses were very nice and attentive as was the doctor. AVOID North Richland Hills hospital at all costs and go here instead for any emergency care in the HEB area.

Delivered my baby here and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The postpartum nurses were fantastic and I could have stayed a few more days if they had let me. :)
PS — Hubby was really impressed with the cafeteria, too.

I hate this hospital! I spent 2 months in the ICU waiting room after my Daddy had his first stroke 6 months ago. Four months later my Baby Sister went into labor 2 months er 8 weeks (in baby speak) early. My Baby Niece was a primi with under developed lungs and had to stay in ICU for 1 month and needed several lung surgeries before she could go home.
It was so hard for me to see my Daddy revert back to a baby and have to relearn everything and then see my new niece in the same state of helplessness.
As much as I hate this hospital for the memories — I Love them for saving the lives of my family!
And my Sister’s Maternity Room was a huge suite dedicated by some wealthy family — I will always cherish the memory of helping my Sis shower and blow drying her hair after her C-​section in a luxury suite!
