ohhhh, if only the Masseuse could’ve been as good as the Receptionist! i had the pleasure of hearing(while i was already unclothed, on the massage table, and with my face stuck in the little head-holding thingy) how my Masseuse misplaced her oil, the banging of the cabinet doors during her search for the oil, the beeping and door-slamming of the MICROWAVE(yes. in the room. inches from me) when she finally found the oil in another room and then needed to heat it up, and then her waxing on about how she’d just come from a necessary Leave of Absence(i don’t care. i’m paying you to relax enough that i don’t need to take my OWN loa from my job) and is certain that the Spa had lost business during her time away, since she’d heard they didn’t have enough coverage in the meantime. oh, and the little head-holding thingy? it never properly locked in place, leaving my Masseuse to have to use her KNEES to hold it into place during what was a mediocre service overall. but, yeah, the Receptionist ROX. maybe she should ask for a raise.

This seems like to traditional mid-cities salon offering mostly hair, nails, and other ancillary services. I am not sure of the other stylist, but Shannon has done great work on both my male and female teenagers related to hair, color, and eyebrows. Definitely a good value. They are closed Sunday-Monday last I checked.

I was a patron of this salon regularly back when I lived in Texas. Laurie Roberts was my go-to girl for hair cutting and styling and I dabbled in the pedicures, manicures and massage services. All of which were delightful and worth every penny. Laurie has since moved to a new salon so I cannot say much for the other hairstylists, other than the fact that they seem like good quality people and I’ve seen them do some really cute do’s. Nice clean facilities. Friendly people. Moderate, fair prices.
