Only reason this place gets 2 stars is because our waitress was nice. The food was disgusting. I got enchiladas verdes, no flavor what so ever. Rice was bland. My son got a cheeseburger and he said it tasted funny.

I’ve passed this place for months now. I was hesitant to stop but thought I could be missing out on something great! I decided to come in on a Saturday afternoon. 1ish. We walked in all the way to the back. I didn’t see anyone. They had two tables occupied. We sat. Waited a few minutes. Decided to get our own menu’s so we can be ready to order. We ended up waiting for almost 20 minutes. No one came out. Really surprised us because they already had customers that they hadn’t even checked on. Unfortunately we will never come back. We will never know how the food is.

The owner sat us at our table and was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. The waitstaff was a little less interested in us though, other than taking our order and delivering the food, they were off in the back talking and laughing. I get it if you’re bored at work, but at least check on the clients once in a while. I had enchiladas verdes and the food was alright, I’d say it’s comparable with Mexican Inn and most tex-mex places in the area. The corn tortillas in the enchiladas and the flour tortillas on the side were premade, I guess they don’t have the setup to make their own. The owner came by the table and told us since they don’t have a liquor license yet they give beer out for free with entrees, and brought by a generous pitcher. The prices here are quite reasonable so with free beer I felt like I got a great value for my money. They also have a snack bar in the back with elotes, paletas, nachos and such. There aren’t many places in the area offering these things so definitely check it out if you want a Mexican snack.

La Hacienda is a restaurant with a snack bar as well. They have classics like Tacos, Tortas, Enchiladas, Fajitas etc. I had their cheese Enchiladas Verdes and they were pretty tasty, their rice and beans were good too. My husband tried the Chile Relleno and it was pretty good as well, but their flour tortillas are just from a pack, I am sure they are Mission, which I particularly found gross. The owner was very friendly, he offered us free beer because he doesn’t have a liquor license, so he just gives beer away to customers, which is always a plus. The snack bar offers ice cream, elotes, conchitas, fresas con crema etc. I had their«Conchinadas» which is corn chips with elote and they were ok. The prices are very good though and there is plenty of parking.

Terrible. The beans appear to have come from a(cheap) can, the rice is tasteless and my tacos had shards of BONE in them. Not joking… Actual bone(see pic). I don’t know how this place is still open.

Being from S. Texas, I find it extremely difficult to find any authentic Mexican food in North Texas but this place has it! They’ve recently changed their menu as well to include Tex-Mex which is not my favorite, but I loved their enchiladas and tacos. The food is also extremely affordable.
