The hotel is nice and new. Pros, Clean and new Pool is nice Staff is friendly Con, Location has nothing around it with out driving Breakfast is limited an not what I expect from holiday inn express(guess they need to be audited to find the problem) it’s missing some things No managers special at night(No bars close so forced to buy stuff an bring it back or drink and drive) Recommend everyone stays at the holiday inn express in Bloomington. It’s better an they have stuff around it plus free food at night

This hotel is more expensive than the other options in the area, but I appreciated the amenities, including the mini-fridge. Pros: 1) Super-friendly staff — from the desk(who called me an hour after check-in to see if everything was okay) to housekeeping to the staff who kept the breakfast bar clean and refilled all the time. 2) Great breakfast bar — I honestly wasn’t expecting so much choice of food and its hours(5:30 to 9:30 am on weekdays) were very convenient. 3) Location — on a residential street just ½ mile from downtown Bedford and easily accessible off US50, yet the outdoor noise wasn’t that bad from my room(which faced the highway). 4) Wifi — strong signal in my room. 5) Very comfortable bed, with extra pillows, and a nice leather office chair and large desk. 6) Great water pressure in the shower, with a rainforest shower head. Cons: 1) The upstairs hallways have a strong smell of chlorine, from the indoor pool(luckily it’s not noticeable in the upstairs rooms themselves). 2) Wifi does require you to login every few hours, so you can’t just leave your laptop on throughout the day and expect to jump on the Internet. 3) The bathroom doesn’t have a separate fan, so it stays steamy for a long time after a shower. 4) has some inaccurate information about what features are available in the rooms(namely, it says that ALL the rooms have microwaves, and it turns out that’s wrong — only the suites have microwaves) — so if you make your reservation through that site, be aware of that error.

Stayed here for a night after finding accommodations in Bloomington too expensive for what we needed. Friendly staff, clean room, good beds. Felt very welcome. Will return to this hotel the next time I am in the area.

This is one of my favorite HIEs to stay in. Pros: The front desk staff is always friendly. Even if you come in during the wee hours of the morning they still step out of the back office and greet you. Centrally located next to the interstate. You can easily get in and out for shopping and food. If your bored you can simply walk to the movie theater next door. They actually post a local running trail diagram in their gym. This was helpful in me determining the best route for a 6 mile run that I needed to complete. Very clean rooms! Others: Hotel usually isn’t very busy so the free breakfast buffet is usually limited. The last time I stayed I found the food dried up and cold when I went down to eat at 10am. Eat early and this may not be a problem.
