Do not use Deb Herthel for ANYTHING. She will take your money and she isn’t cheap and not do anything for you. She acted like she was working with my ex and his lawyer instead of being my lawyer that I paid for in a child custody case. She will try to bully you into doing things that you aren’t legally obligated to do. Stay far, far, away.

I am only writing this to attest about child custody. If you are in need of someone to do Guardian Ad Litem work, do whatever you must do to not have Debra Herthel assigned to your case or even go out of your way to put her on retainer. She does the most horrid job of anyone I have ever known and still I don’t know how she keeps her credentials to do so. She missed deadlines set forth by the courts that ended up costing me several hundred dollars in plane ticket fees and lost work due to a case being continued because of this. Then, she is not thoroughly fair and balanced in her reports that it’s nothing more than an atrocity.
