New owners and sushi chefs since remodel and new building. It was decent but not the same. Nicer décor, not as good sushi

Not bad. Good décor. Sushi was pretty good. Two were really good. The mango sauce they had just tasted like mayo and ruined the sushi. The kaki fry was just fried oysters. And there was no music. Very odd. But still, more options and better than grocery store sushi.

Food: excellent! Fried rice is a bit oily sometimes, but otherwise wonderful and light. Service: staff is odd and quiet. I often feel judged and they stare a lot. I’d like to eat in peace. 3.5 stars I’d rather give but it is hard to review on the app.

I have liked their Katsu Don. I think there maybe only one other place I know that makes them better. They have good tuna tataki too.

I like this small restaurant in the middle of town. The sushi is always fresh and the atmosphere is nice. I’m always on the look out, but so far this is the best sushi I’ve found in the area.

We have been to Ginger for many years. It took a while before they reopen again. The food is excellent and the service is always great. We will go there every time when we want good Japanese food. They serve you a cup of green tea when you arrive and it is always welcoming especially on the cold winter days.

A decent Sushi place given the location. Would definitely be amenable to coming here again. It would be more like a three star place if compared across all sushi restaurants, but it’s slim pickings In Bedford and this place is decent. Service was decent overall. At the end, they were slow to take my credit card after the bill came, so I had to go up and give it myself. I had the Tuna Maki and the Monster roll. Both were good. I might try something different next time, though, since they weren’t spectacular.

I tried the tuna tataki and really liked it. The portion was good for the amount of tuna you receive. The main dishes are a little pricey but pretty good. They are currently doing a ramen special and I really enjoyed their broth. Its not too think and salty. Its perfect!

Sushi was okay here. Ok service. Wish the sushi rolls were a little bigger. But all around cheap sushi place if you’re in the area.

I was up in our«Boston»(cough-suburb) office this week, so… time to hit up suburb sushi! Pre meal scene: Sit down… peak around to see what others have ordered… and my anxiety starts to go up… every visible plate had either: a. Something Fried b. A California roll or c. both. Begin inner dialogue: «don’t be a snob… give it a chance» My server came by and took my order. I ordered a la carte toro nigiri, and a small sashimi dinner assortment, which came with soup/salad. My anxiety, which had calmed down a bit… started to rise again when the server said«you know that it’s raw fish, right?»… and I could catch my neighbor doing a double take out of the corner of my eye. ? «don’t be a snob… give it a chance» «don’t be a snob… give it a chance» The soup/salad came out with the toro nigiri… At this point, my neighbor and his date were not so subtly watching me as I worked my way through the soup/salad… and you could see them start to straighten up in anticipation as it came time for the toro. Before I put it in my mouth… my anxiety started rising a bit more. Did they know something I didn’t? It was delicious. Just like fatty tuna should be. Yum. My neighbors couldn’t seem to believe that I actually ate it. At this point… it was clear that I was not in the wrong. The sashimi came out, and everything was fresh and cut beautifully. Good meal overall. Eat here with confidence!

Nice place, small and very clean with excellent top notch service even at the sushi bar. Sushi could have been better with better seasoned sushi rice. We ordered King Roll with king crab and got surimi… Not impressed. We like Super Fusion in Watertown waaaay better!

Nice Japanese restaurant in the suburbs. We had to eat a quick dinner, and enjoyed the sushi selections and the beef yaki udon. Ordered a crispy chicken appetizer which I would probably skip next time(just too crispy, not much flavor or meat). Parking is easy behind the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and casual, easy to bring a family. Would try again.

Got the Sushi dinner and Tuna Bomb. Delicious! The fish is so fresh and high-grade, it melts in your mouth! Staff is very courteous and efficient. Casual atmosphere, great value. I think probably the best sushi in the area.

Seriously, what is it with nice Japanese restaurants and using disposable chopsticks? In spite of their chopsticks, Ginger is a damn good restaurant. In the heart of a renovated Bedford strip mall, Ginger is well laid out and well decorated. The service is quiet and unmemorable. The food here seems expensive. However, unlike most of the Japanese restaurants I visit, I have no issue with it. Ginger Japanese has amazingly good food. The fish is tender and the teriyaki sauce, though not-really-Japanese, is on point. Everything else my family had was delicious as well. I’m impressed, especially because this restaurant makes me far more willing to part with my hard-earned money. Pity about those disposable chopsticks…

Clean new interior, lot parking, fast attentive service, and great food. A wonderful lunch option in Bedford. Had the vegetarian lunch which comes with Miso Soup, Salad, and 2 veggie rolls. The rolls were decent sized, if not large. It came with a cucumber avocado, and a mixed veggie roll. I certainly left feeling full. They never let your water or tea run dry either. It was the perfect amount of food for a great price and best of all service was fast. It is definitely some where to grab lunch during the work day.

Got an order to go and was pleasantly surprised! I got the maki combo with one spicy tuna roll and salmon roll. I was excited to see the roll was not 50% rice! It was big bites of sushi, they don’t skimp! For lunch to go they gave a miso soup and salad. Overall I was impressed for the quality and quantity I got for lunch time prices and to go!
