The BEST! Steve is not only a nice guy, but as complete an inspector as they come. He scheduled me right away, was right on time, looked at every single spot in the home and garage, and clearly knew all the codes and specifications. He was great for a first-​time buyer with a million questions and concerns. He made himself available post-​inspection by both phone and email to answer questions about the report. Having an inspector that used thermal imaging added an extra layer of security for us about the house we were buying. Knowing Steve had the ability to see/​not see issues with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and insulation not seen with the naked eye — is amazing. A lot of other inspectors offer Thermal at an extra charge — not Steve! He does it with his inspection. Had our inspection done at 2pm and had a very comprehensive report back early that evening. He is very reasonably priced when he could charge more for everything he does — including a free pest inspection for VA/​FHA buyers. If you want to know that the house you are moving into is solid and safe — Steve is the inspector for you!!!

In a pinch and with extremely short notice, I searched around for home inspection services in NH and by the grace of God I stumbled upon Gaudet Inspections. Steven was very professional and thorough in his explanation of the services provided and what’s recommended based on the property and location of the property. Prices are very fair and comparable to other home inspection services in the area, but what you get for the money can’t be matched by others.
Once inspection time came around, Steven was very thorough with his inspection (saw things that I never would’ve thought about). He explains, in detail, what he sees, how it affects the home, what his concerns are and what steps need to be taken to remedy any issues. He uses an IR (Infrared) Camera during his inspection and, I’ll tell you, that thing is cool (saw other reviews on it and it’s worth the mention). It shows things about the home that the naked eye can’t see. Home inspection reports are very detailed with crystal clear, vivid images of everything he explains/​suggests.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Gaudet Inspections to family and friends. I plan on using Gaudet Inspections again for whatever properties I look to purchase in the future. Thank you for everything that you’ve done, as you’ve made a first-​timer feel pretty comfortable with something so nerve-​racking.

Stephen Gaudet did an inspection on a home we’re going to purchase in Nashua. He was very thorough. He has a tool that literally has the ability to see through walls so he can check for hot and cold spots as well as moisture and potential mice activity. It can see if there is missing insulation. Because it can check hot spots, he can see any potential electrical issues that can become a fire hazard. The home had active leaking from a skylight and ice dam in another part of the house. His final report was very impressive and complete with pictures highlighting issues. I had the report the same day of the inspection which was very much appreciated because time was of then essence so the information could be reported back to the sellers.
I highly recommend him. He was very professional and a wealth of knowledge.

Steve inspected our home before we purchased it. He is kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He got into every nook and cranny of the house to make sure it was in great condition before we bought it. I highly recommend him!

By far the most thorough inspection that we’ve ever had (and we’ve had 4 in the past 7 years!). Steve checked for cold spots, moisture, structural integrity, electrical wiring and was extremely detailed. He even pointed out where we could and could not hang pictures (because of pipes in the walls). He pointed out where the previous owner (properly) repaired an ice dam without being told about it previously.

Stephen Gaudet is accommodating, knowledgeable, and patient, he is extremely thorough, and his final report is excellent and prompt. if you are going with him, expect to be there a while! And expect that he will answer your questions and not make you feel like you are in his way or holding him up in any way.
