Now named Jolly’s. One word Charming* came in this evening for coffee and dessert. Between three of us we shared a raspberry cheesecake and a slice of pecan pie, everything was delicious! We decided to take it out on the porch to enjoy the beautiful day. Great atmosphere– really enjoyed our visit.

I’m giving this place a 5 but I’m grading on a curve. It’s Bedford, after all. The food was good and it tasted fresh and homemade. But the service was slow — particularly for sandwiches. And the portions were small. The prices were great! I’d pay a bit more for better portions on the plate or a pickle.
Keep up the great work, Duchess. Bedford needs you!

This place has the best baked goods for miles around. Love everything. I think they were struggling with the café part, but now that they no longer have that option, it’s definitely a 5-​star place, as a bakery and takeout.

It was ok. Not great. The food was slow and while you could tell that the bread on my sandwich was fresh, the rest of it was nothing to write home about. The expresso machine seemed to be permanently broke, so my wife couldn’t get any chai tea and I had to settle for just a basic cup of coffee (we were on vacation. I wanted a fancy drink. :). The bakery selection seemed pretty bland. They were out of cheesecake and the muffins didn’t look real appetizing.

I love this bakery! We chose a wide assortment of goodies to take home with us, and they were all delicious. Chocolate chip cookies, mint brownies, chocolate scones, and some various candies. Everything was yummy. The ladies working here were really friendly too, and were very patient with our picking out each individual item.
I have had one meal here, and while the food was pretty good, it took an extremely long time to get an order in, and even longer time to actually get the food. I’ll just stick with the bakery from now on!
