Terra Verde Cafe

The cafeteria was a much needed addition to this PCC location. Even though the campus isn’t large, there is a lot going on here, and it’s right at a max station, so we really need the cafeteria. The staff here is always nice. The service has always been pleasant. The food is pretty good. Everything is clean and well kept. There aren’t any affordable options on the menu but there are vending machines upstairs. I wish it was open later.

Hands down the BEST clam chowder in Beaverton ! I plan my lunches around when they are going to have clam chowder since their daily soup rotates. Employees are great. Mike is the best, friendly and excellent customer service.

I enjoy stopping in here for coffee while waiting for the max or bus. Their breakfast sandwich is delicious and staff is very friendly.

Overall my original review stands for Terra Verde, except today I had one of the best burgers in recent memory. Hand formed patty of some very fresh meat and cooked perfectly. Condiments came with burger and were applied liberally. The pickles on the burger even tasted homemade. Because of this and the great service, I am bumping my review from three to four stars. Good job

I’ve been taking the same bus and MAX route to Hillsboro from NE Portland for about a year now. One of my transfers lands me waiting at Willow Creek TC, right in front of the Beaverton branch of PCC. I’ve stood out at that bus stop in rain, sleet and snow. Shivering. Thirsty. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to actually wander inside the building. The only reason I did was because I needed to find a restroom one day. Seriously, there’s a little coffee cart INSIDE the lobby? The warm, cozy lobby? What the heck is wrong with me?
In any case, I discovered that Terra Verde Café can make a tasty espresso drink, serve up a regular cup of joe, and/​or provide a tasty snack while waiting for that bus. The counter person is friendly and there are even a few benches and little couches nearby where you can partake of said conveniences without shivering your nether regions off out in the slog and slush. Awesome.
