My daughter and son have attended Small World for the past 4 years. I believe a true indicator of a good day care is how happy your children are — and mine are. They look forward to going to daycare everyday and they are learning not just numbers and letters but how to be respectful as well. The staff really do care and listen to your concerns. Regarding the comment below regarding the language barrier — I tend to have a different point of view –I’m glad my children are being exposed to different languages, if there is an issue or anything that needs to be addressed the staff are more than happy to answer or address any concerns that you may have. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that I think a more proactive approach to communication would be helpful, for example when a child changes classes –it would be nice to have a bio of the teacher, what are the expectations-do they still need a blanket? Etc. But at the same time all you need to do is ask. Would recommend this daycare(and it’s affordable:)!)

My daughter is currently enrolled here and as been from 5 months-20 months. In the beginning the care was great! We love Dora and she is awesome with the babies! When she transitioned to the wobbler room she had Allison who was also fantastic but then she left as she wasn’t happy there. Unfortunately care has gone downhill since then. My daughter likes the core staff but they have a lot of young(high school-ish) kids there helping and they are not good. I’ve caught staff several times on their cell phones instead of watching the kids which is outrageous to me. I’ve complained but it hasn’t really been dealt with. Even though the price is the least expensive, you get what you pay for. The only reason I haven’t pulled my daughter yet is because in a few months I will be becoming a stay at home mom and it doesn’t make sense. Another thing I don’t like is that most of the teachers don’t speak English so it’s very hard to communicate with them. I wouldn’t recommend this place, at all!
