I was so excited to re-​connect with SABRINA! From the moment I walking in the door Haydn greeted me, accompanied me with a drink & I filled out a new client card. During my process Sabrina talked me through it all, asking me what did I want to do with my hair. I got lots of dead hair cut off & got the Ola-​Triplex Treatment, she basically brought my hair back to life! I can’t wait to go back!

First and foremost, Sabrina is awesome. Before I came to this salon I was hoping from one salon to another all over Portland. From the very first time I booked with them they were super professional and very fair on pricing. Sabrina always does a great job, even when I have no clue what I want. She is very knowledgeable and even gave me advice when I dyed my hair at home and couldn’t afford to come in for a fix. Thet offer a really good referral system where you get to try products and she always offers me chocolate on the way out! It’s a nice experience and I have now referred a couple of my friends who love her as well!

I feel bad giving a negative review because the staff was so extremely friendly! I am just disappointed with the color services I received. Haydn was so nice and I really enjoyed talking to her. I know she is new talent, but Sabrina, an experienced stylist actually mixed the color and suggested how she dye my hair. Haydn did a great cut, but the color was off. I asked for dark brown (my natural) with very subtle red. It came out way redder than I wanted! Haydn knew I was disappointed and offered for me to come back to get it fixed the next week. I went home, washed it and after two washes, it looked great. She even called me to check in and I told her it worked out and looked fine. Nice customer service!
Not even two weeks later after getting the color, my grays were already coming back! I don’t have a ton of gray and I’ve used box color that has lasted longer. I just used a box to touch up the roots. I am very upset. While the customer service was great, and my cut looked good, I will not return because of the color-​job.
Keep up the good service but work on some issues.

I was referred to stylist Sabrina by my sister, who’d just gotten a fantastic cut from her a few days prior. I moved here from Key West a year ago and had yet to find a regular stylist.
The salon has a warm, inviting and clean atmosphere and I was greeted right away. Sabrina was upbeat, kind, and thorough. I could tell she really cared about not only the cut, but how it would fit my hair and lifestyle. I had made the grievous error of trimming my own hair a few months back, and Sabrina was able to not only mitigate the damage I’d caused, delivering the sleek bob-​type cut I was hoping for, but she also worked with me on a blunt-​bang that I’d been wanting, in a way that made me feel comfortable taking such a drastic (to me, heh) step from my usual style.
Sabrina was knowledgeable and efficient, but never made me feel rushed. She took her time and by the end I felt like we were old friends. She offered me a beverage at the beginning, and even shared some of her chocolates (a gift from another client) at the end! I enjoyed the whole experience immensely and ADORE my new hairstyle. I am excited to return to get my hair colored. I highly recommend Potions. Ask for Sabrina!

Had a great experience at this salon! I have just moved into the state/​area and what woman doesn’t need a good salon?!
About the salon, it is extremely comfortable and clean. They have all the services: hair (of course), nails, massage.
I needed a trim and a blowout for a company holiday party on short notice. I called at 3:30pm and I was sitting in Sabrina’s chair by 4:30 that day! I was in a time crunch and Sabrina did a great job with my hair!
She went the extra mile on the styling and I couldn’t be more pleased with the job she did! I will definitely be returning to Potions!

This salon is great! I’ve gotten my hair done twice, with Venus, and both times I have been so happy. The products se uses are all Paul Mitchell and are great. She takes the necessary time to understand what you want and has a lot of patience. The work she does is amazing. Also, this place looks very nice and it’s clean. I highly recommend this salon :)

Potions Salon is a great place to relax and get your hair done. I love they way Venis colors and cuts my hair. Will try the other products next visit.
