Went in yesterday to get both of my daughter’s hair cut. It was a little after 5. They finished with both around about 15mins to 6p.m. My husband wanted to get his hair trimmed but it wasn’t an option because Katy who normally I tip very well and who is very nice let us know they were closing in a little while and they had a long busy day. She was also rude when we were showing her how we wanted our youngest daughter’s hair cut. Normally we leave more than 20% when we go there but this time because she was so rude we left less then that. We won’t go back. It would have been one thing had she spoke to us a little nicer. But after going there so many times and being dismissed like we were some charity case… we won’t be going there anymore.

I am the last person to ever want to write something awful about a place, but with this salon, I just can’t NOT say something! I get that it’s a family hair care type salon, so I didn’t expect epic results, but when I simply went in for a hair conditioning treatment, I figured that since the service is pretty standard, it couldn’t be anything less than fine. Wrong. The stylist was so unprofessional. She made me feel so awful about the state of my hair, and commented about how fried, damaged, and«unhappy» it was, and that she could tell that my damage was not chemically related, but damaged from medications and illness. RIGHT! I told you that when I first sat in your chair! Rounds of meds over the last few years have done a number on my once long, thickish, wavy hair, which I am already very aware and saddened about, so her pointing out the obvious only made me feel worse. The stylist I had seriously talked about it for the remainder of my appt! As she finally finished and was blowing my hair out, she didn’t even use a brush, or her hands for that matter, and literally left like ¾ of my hair soaking wet, yet she charged me extra for a blow out! I seriously looked like a stray cat when I left there. This was almost two weeks ago and I’m still salty about it, so I figured I share my complaints. Hahaha, I’m not sure about the rest of the Perfect Look salons in the area, but I’d avoid this one. It was my first and certainly last visit!

The hair stylist was so unprofessional, ruined my hair, and didn’t listen to a damn thing I said. Avoid this place !

I have super basic hair. A little past my shoulders, plain brown, straight. Except it’s super fine. Baby fine. And I have layers. Starting about chin length. The top of my hair is stick straight, but it’s wavy underneath. Oh and I have a weird cowlick in the front that must be defeated, or any roots I have will show up there shiny silver-gray. I don’t like to use product in it or any kind of styling tool. Not good at that kind of thing. It needs to be wash(blow-dry) and wear. So basically my hair looks not difficult at all, except it is weird and quirky and needs to be cut by someone who knows what the heck they’re doing. Yours too? Maybe yours is super thick instead, or you have weird cowlicks like I do, or it’s too curly/wavy/straight??? I bet Katy can handle it. And she’s quick, super friendly, and the price is right. Yes, it’s a chain hair salon in a strip mall in Beaverton, between a Safeway and I think a laundromat. Yes, I also get that that description doesn’t really say«ooh tell me more about this fancy time salon.» Doesn’t need to. Katy is awesome and this is where you should go. Sometimes you get what you pay for; here’s a time that you get a LOT more.

Went here on a whim to get my awkward growing hair out cut and reshaped. No appointment on a Friday afternoon and only had to wait ten minutes(actually put my name down and ran to the Safeway next door). Katy did a great job cutting my hair and did exactly what I wanted including a lot of needed thinning which some stylists are hesitant to do but I have too thick hair and need it. Shop was very clean and friendly. Will definitely go again.

This place is nothing impressive to the eye when you first walk in, but the service and the results are absolutely amazing! I went in to get a shadow box and a cut. They didn’t have the color I wanted in store so, Melissa went to another store to get the color for me! She did a phenomenal job on my color and cut. I will not be going anywhere else from now on.

I used to go to one of those OTHER walk-in salons that are cheap and fast. I ended up getting so many horrible haircuts I just couldn’t go there anymore. I usually do my grocery shopping at the Safeway on Murray/Allen since it’s so close. One day I happened to notice Perfect Look next door. I checked it out and found out how good their prices were. And they do color too. I was lucky enough to get a sweet gal named Brenda and continued to go to her for quite awhile. Unfortunately, she left. boo hoo. The next time I came in I got a stylist named Katie. And just like Brenda, she took her time with me and actually checked her work several times to make sure all was straight and even. I’ve been to much more expensive salons where the stylist didn’t check her work once! For about $ 15.00 I get fabulous cuts. No complaints here at all!!!

LETMESTARTWITHMYNEWRULEWHICHISREALLYJUSTANOLDRULEFROMELEMENTARYSCHOOL — DON’T CUTYOURHAIR. LEAVETHATTOTHEINDUSTRYPROFESSIONALSEVENIFYOUARESUREYOUAREDOING A BANGUPJOB(AT2AM). i got a new person to help me care for my unruly hair. Her name is Katy. My mom and I were looking for someone somewhere ANYWHERE who works great with naturally curly hair that is fine and dry — we are QUITE particular when it comes to stylists that listen and can do what really works for us! I was a walk in, so I took the luck of the draw. She was positive, professional & paid attention to what I wanted then delivered on the results. I was very pleased with my first cut there(four stars). Weeks go by, hair grows, shit needs trimmed up. Now this is where I put her through the litmus test and where they move from the ubiquitous 4 stars to the glory filled 5 star rating. How did they do that you ask? After a fit of shall we say, ‘piqué’, I took some scissors accompanied by copious glasses of vino. I should have put the scissors down, but in my wine powered wisdom I decided I MUST trim my bangs and I went Edward Scissor hands on my locks — by the time I was finished I had cut me my very own mullet! Tears, tears and more tears. I could barely bring my humiliated self in to see her, but I did and she was incredibly understanding(which made me feel a lot less piqué-y) AND did a fantastic job undoing my mullet without sacrificing(much) of my length! Wow, abracadabra, who knew in a strip mall off of Murray I would find such a nice qualified person who could do all this, be nice as pie and charge less than $ 15.00 bucks. I AMINHEAVEN. (FYI, I took all my scissors out of the bathroom and told my fiancé that the next time I feel like cutting hair, I am cutting his…
