Definitely my favorite pizza restaurant to eat at whenever I’m in Portland. Awesome pizza and a drink for $ 9, yes please.

Cannot handle the constant attitude from the staff here and on and off consistency of the food. I saw another review where someone compared this place to Subway? Subway is better because you at least know what you are getting when you go there and the people that work there arent entitled little tweens with bratt-itude. Drive a little bit further down the road and go to the exact same pizza place with a different name.

Great pizza, the kids love, and insist upon, great service, top notch folk. When given a choice between Mod and Blaze, the response is always a cheer for Mod, and groans and pleading for it over Blaze. LOL It’s always fun to torment the kids with talk of going to Blaze, while on the way to Mod Pizza. Certain folk there have also shown themselves to be very big hearted as well. Can not recommend Mod Pizza @ Cedar Hills enough.

About what you expect. Decent food. Perfect portions for me at least. Inexpensive and fast. Been there a few times and haven’t had a bad experience yet

Have never seen anything like it. Was told it was Portland flare. Perfect. HATE to say its just like subway… But that us a reference everyone understands. Pick your size… from your sauce to all of their fresh topping choices. All one price. Wood fired and ready under 10 minutes. Not a pizza fan? Get a salad built! Was on lunch… so couldn’t enjoy… but looked like they had small handful of local drafts available… Staff was incredible. Friendly, attentive and outgoing. Damn good lunch. 2 ate this fresh and flavorful fare for under $ 18.

No THIS is NOT like BLAZE pizza… although I like Blaze, MOD is just so much better for toppings and variety. Cool staff and helpful.

One price for as many toppings as you’d like. This is a concept that I love! And the food is great! This location is very clean. Every time I have been to this location, it has been pretty empty and quick service. The pizzas are a thin crust and cooked in a large pizza oven which makes it the crust crispy. All the ingredients look fresh and of good quality. I typically get a red sauced pizza but today I tried a white sauce with basil and garlic and it was great!

Concept is phenomenal… Fresh quick oven roasted pizza, however you like, how can you go wrong? I really recommend their pesto sauce, its A+. Also just a suggestion but don’t overload the pizza with toppings as they will either be undercooked or your dough will be way harder. Have a good balance!!! Think of this as the subway of the pizza world. $ 7.47 for as many toppings as you want. I say that’s priced very very fair. I would also avoid coming after work hours, specifically 5 – 6:30 pm. It’s crazy busy and you won’t get your pizza as fast as you want it!

The pizza and service is great, but on this day, the place was pretty dirty all over. It wasn’t very busy, only a few people in line, and about 1⁄3 of the tables in use mid afternoon, but not one clean table to be found. The floor and restrooms were no better. No TP in ladies room either.

I have been here a couple of times and the food is good and quick, The prices are OK like Pieology it is one price and you can put all you want on it.(I think Pieology is a bit better though), The staff is friendly and quick, and the space is nice(it can be loud when it gets full). I would come here more often but it is very popular and there always seems to be a line(at 6 on a Friday it was to the door), The line moves fairly fast though. The pizzas are good, I would probably be more a fan if I hadn’t been to Pieology first. I wish they had more cheeses to choose(Pieology has more toppings to choose from with similar prices). Still I give it three and a half stars(rounded to four for its convenient for me location).

I came here with some colleagues for lunch. The concept is that they have a slate of pizzas that you can choose from, but you can also add to those pizzas, or just create your own. I created my own with garlic, artichokes, olives, perfectly melty mozzarella cheese and red pepper flakes and loved it! The mini is the perfect size for me. My colleagues both got regular size and they were huge! You also have the option for gluten free crust here. Great lunch spot!

Nice for a quick mini pizza, BUT careful staying to far from their standard menu pizzas. My son order a completely custom pizza and got onions instead of olives and the forgot the tomatoes. That was after they screwed it up and remade it. No offer to comp us the cost of the pizza was offered. Disappointing.

Unfortunately I started going here because they are rude at the Tanasbourne location and this place is also going down the drains. I went in last Wednesday 9⁄2 and they screwed up my order and were rude to me. I ordered a mini pizza and salad and the guy with a burgundy beanie just asked me what I wanted. He just marked it off on the sheet with a sharpie. And then he told me to just go ahead and pay. After I paid he started putting all the topping on. The the girl yelled our name and we got our pizza and I asked her for my salad. She said that I had to get back in line to get it. I told her that I paid for it already and that I just wanted a ceaser salad. She started to get rude with me and proceeded to call a guy with a cap with a P on it. And then she started mumbling stuff under her breath in front of me!!! He was the only one nice to me and he said he would make my salad and even offered to give me a refund. I just wanted my salad not a refund, so I refused it. I was not going to get back inl line. It was almost to the door and I was not going to get in front of all those people either. Now I realized that the guy wearing the burgundy beanie is the one that messed up my order. It’s weird that they sell salads but when someone orders one, they don’t know what to do. It’s like they are programmed to just make pizza’s. I think I am done with Mod Pizza for now. I knocked off 2 stars for the rude service but gave it 3 stars because the food is good. And thank you to the guy wearing a cap with a «P» on it for getting me my ceasar salad with no problems. And he was so nice, cool, calm and collected!

Service is always friendly and genuine. Fast too! I love the choices of toppings and everything seems fresh. My pizza tastes delicious every time! I also love the caramelized pear iced tea. Nothing here disappoints. Clean, fast, friendly service and tasty food.

Great workers, great service, and once again great atmosphere. Nice, cool décor around the restaurant. The employee who assisted me when it came to choosing what to order was more than helpful. When you get to the start of the line, the first thing they usually start with is «Hi, welcome to MOD!» After welcoming you in, the first thing they usually ask is «Have you ever been here before?» If your answer is no, they help you decide what you want to order, and how you want to order it. If your answer is yes, they’ll still assist you no matter what. There were some questions along the way in the process of making my pizza, and they were all ready to answer them. Bathrooms are clean, along with the fountain drink area. Everything was cleaned and restocked when needed.

We stopped in on a busy Friday night to give this fast food pizza thing a try. I was worried when people compared it to Subway because I despise Subway, but it bears little comparison. There was a line out the door but it actually moved pretty quickly. There is a huge menu on the wall with some popular pizzas, but you can make anything you please. They definitely have a system and there are tons of options for toppings. We went with the #2 — red sauce, pepperoni, meatballs, and sausage. We also went with the seasonal selection — white sauce, garlic, Canadian bacon, and asparagus. When we got to the register we ordered a milkshake and the guy told us that if we liked them on Facebook it would be free. He was super friendly and told us he a trainer for the company. We appreciated his enthusiasm and the milkshake tip. We took our food to-go because it was crazy busy inside. The pizzas were actually pretty good. They weren’t the most filling because they are pretty thin, but they were flavorful. I think I would go for the #2 again, but maybe add some garlic and mushrooms. I might grab a salad too, just to make it a bigger meal. The milkshake was good, we had strawberry and it was vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup, but still good. This is a really great place to grab a cheap lunch or a quick dinner. I think next time we are going to grab a couple pizzas and go for a picnic in the park. Bottom line, it’s pretty good for fast food pizza.

Love the concept and most of the time, love the pizza. This particular location seems to have some executional challenges though that I haven’t noticed at the Hillsboro location, and with competitors(Blaze just down the street, Pieology) coming in all over the place they may want to up their game a bit. The crust is always overdone here to the point of charred/burnt. I know it’s a fine line with wood fired pizza and do expect some level of char here and there, but on both visits to this store our crust was burnt to the point where we didn’t want to eat it. The other issue is the toppings are really skimpy. Since you can have anything you want on it for a flat price, I’d maybe ask for double to get good coverage. The BF had black olives on this pizza, and we counted 9 slices of olive spread over the 4 slices. I’d also advise ramping up the customer service a bit. It’s loud in there — the music is loud, the ceilings are high and open so it’s really echoey — so it would help to speak up a bit when asking about what pizza, what toppings, rattling off options. A smile would be good too. It tends to be pretty business-like in there, which is understandable to a point to move things along in a busy restaurant but can come off as a bit curt. Great pizza, and the lemonades(both regular and marionberry) are ridiculously good. The price can’t be beat. A few small tweaks would up the star count for sure.

Have had great pizza 3 different visits to the MOD Pizza in Hillsboro but on my first visit to this MOD Pizza location in Beaverton my pizza was burnt on the bottom and edges. I would have complained but they were busy(lunch hour) and we didn’t have time to wait for another pizza to be made.

Ate here today for the first time. Subway style assembly line for toppings, and very friendly staff. Kinda reminds me of the personnel you’d find at a Chick Fil A if they had any around here. Interior is stark, sort of like Chipotle, but clean and well lit. I built a pizza with red sauce, pepperoni, spicy sausage, anchovies, mushrooms, black olives and jalapeños. Got a soda at the self serve and a few minutes later it was ready. Looked good & tasted great. They has Sriracha Sauce available, so a little of that and it was just spicy enough. One slice left over for a midnight snack. I’ll be back soon.
