Love these ladies, they’ll always take care of you and give great suggestions :) the small details they do are really good quality. From eyebrow waxing to shellac to your deluxe pedicure they will treat you well. Get the salt scrub. Just saying.

I was really REALLY impressed when I went here this past weekend. The staff was friendly, full service, and I didn’t feel like I got ripped off or talked about behind my back. I will never go anywhere else as long we live in Aloha!

8/15, still loving Lana for my nails and Tweety for my pedicure, they are so good, so thorough and detail oriented, I would never go anywhere else and their new shop is large, bright and in a much better location. Here is how you can have an excellent experience at Glamorous Nails. 1. make an appointment, much easier for everyone, mostly YOU 2. if you have an issue during your session, say something right THEN, instead of coming home to open a Unilocal account to complain about something that could have been easily fixed. 3. if you don’t like how your nails turn out, say something before you leave, there are no refunds because you have already used their time, but they are always happy to accommodate you and fix it to your satisfaction, no questions asked. 4. if something hurts or you don’t like it, say something, these ladies cannot read your mind 5. if someone tries to upsell you, and you are not interested, just say so, you are an adult and can say no. 6. treat these ladies how you would like to be treated

I love the work Lana and Tweedy do for nails and toes. So why did stop going there and now drive farther. Because no matter who is doing your nails or toes one or more of the techs will bombard you with sales pitch after sales pitch… vitamins, wt loss, dye your eyebrows. Part of going to get some peace. You will not find it at Glamorous Nails. Also did not appreciate being told my heels are ugly while I was getting my nails done.

Horrible! First let me say, I have never written a review prior to this but I strongly feel compelled to warn people of the scam this business is running. One evening I went in with my friend for a leisurely Pedi and while the place was clean and we had a zero wait time, the girls working there immediately started in with the«up sales». Told my friend she needed her eyebrows done, I needed vitamins for my weak toenails — of course they sell the vitamins and offer the eyebrow service. We politely declined and tried to carry on a conversation between us(hoping they had given up the uncomfortable and hardcore sales pitch) but then I was told my feet really needed this amazing, there’s nothing like it in the world, foot lotion… the answer to my dry cracked heels that I have been searching for my entire adult life. Epoch Nu Skin Sole Solution 4.2 fl oz for ONLY $ 25. Well, I’ve tried everything else, I might as well try this. We finished our Pedis with only one more hard sales pitch — manicures — we were both in «desperate need of» — NOT — and tipped the ladies and I went home with my miracle lotion. When I got home my little one was so glad to see me, he rushed into my arms and I sat my NEW lotion on the end table under the light. When I looked over the light was shining through the bottle just enough for me to realize it was slightly LESS than half full! Ah hah, the old bait and switch trick. Lana SHOWED me a new bottle, even had made a grand effort of taking it out of the box opening it so I could smell it. Then she switched it with the one she had been using on who knows how many other clients, sending me home with LESS than half a bottle. Ok, did I feel taken advantage of? Sure. But I also thought there are salons on every corner, and I won’t return to Glamorous Nails, nor will I refer them to anyone and I was done. Done until my visa statement came in a couple of weeks later. My bill had been $ 52(remember $ 25 of that was the lotion cost) and so I had tipped her $ 5 for the pedicure portion of the bill — probably would have tipped more had we not been pressured our entire visit to purchase more. Total bill $ 57. My statement showed my total charge was $ 60. Guess Lana thought she deserved more of a tip than I thought she deserved. It’s only another $ 3, right? But it’s not about the $ 3. It’s about the ENTIRE evening. It’s about going in to relax and instead being scammed. I wrote to them explaining I thought they should at a minimum refund the $ 3 and half the price of the lotion. I never did get a response. I would never recommend Glamorous Nails(Or Glamourous Nails as their receipt reads) to anyone! However, one good thing came out of this experience… that Nu Skin Sole Solution rocks and you can purchase it on Amazon for $ 15!!!

I have never been so disappointed in customer service before. If I could give no stars I would. I went to get acrylic nails put on, the woman who did mine was inexperienced and made more then several mistakes. She didn’t file my actual nails down before putting the acrylics on and didn’t cut my real nails so they were the same length at the acrylics. The acrylic also turned my real nails yellow so they looked disgusting because you could see them underneath.(Which is not how it’s supposed to be) The acrylics had ripples in them and weren’t even, they were different shapes and lengths and looked horrible. It took her over 2 hours to do them and by then I was late for getting home and packing to go out of town. In the week I was gone my nails started to lift already!(Because she didn’t file my actual nails the acrylic couldn’t stick to them) so when I got back I called the salon and explained what happened, before even asking for anything to be done the owner Lana promptly told me to come in and she would fix them for me, so I did. Instead of taking them off and redoing them(like 3 other salons later told me she should have done) she just filled them as if they had just grown out and re shaped them a little. Yes they looked GREAT when I left but only about 4 days later they started to lift AGAIN because she had not fixed the most important problem. When I called back and explained once again what was happening she proceeded to yell at me, yes actually screaming at me through the phone about how she fixed them once and was not going to do it again. She wouldn’t even just take them off, she told me I had to either pay to get them filled or to get a whole new set put on. I said I just wanted them removed and she refused. She continued to yell at me saying that I should speak to MY manager at MY place of work because she gets her nails done with Lana. I couldn’t believe how inappropriate and unprofessional it was to not only bring up my manager at a completely different place of business that she has NO business affiliation with, but most importantly to scream at a customer and refuse to do a service you provide.(Acrylic removal) I have since learned this place has a horrible reputation in the area it’s in and I can see why.

I had been here once before. I questioned going back because of the lack luster of a pedi I got but time was short and I needed to pamper myself a bit. So Saturday night I went in for a shellac mani. I had called to see how late they were open and she had said to come in. It was so rushed, over priced and my shellac is already peeling up because she put the shellac on my cuticles… It hasn’t even been a week. Frustrating!!! The worst part of the whole thing was the other lady working there would not leave me alone about my eye brows. Multiple times she told me that I needed to color my eye brows and that I would be so much prettier if I dyed them. How rude. After telling her over and over that I didn’t want her to work on my eye brows I was excited for my mani to end. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. They’re pushy, over priced, and don’t do a quality job. Stay far far away.

I’ve been here several times and it’s a mixed bag. Last visit was my last visit. The tech cut all of the corners of my toe nails and every single one became ingrown on the sides — so painful and it’s taken a couple of months for them to grow back out out completely. I don’t recommend this salon.

Ehhh experienced… Came into get my nails done with my sister for her wedding. My sister called to make an appt, but once we got there, the lady gave my sister’s appt to another bridal party thinking that it was our group who was there. The lady just said oh well, they walked in first, although she made her appt. The lady who did my nails was very sweet and nice, however, my nails did not come out nice. I chose to get the french tip set, but was sadly disappointed because all ten nails had air bubbles all over them and the white part of the nail leaked into the clear section of the nail. She rushed to do my nails so she can help the other bridal party, but I am still a paying customer so she should have taken her time. I paid $ 25 for my nails to be done, so they should have been nicely done. Luckily, I have a lot of patience and I didn’t want to complain about how bad my nails were because my sister was already having a bad day. My sister decided to get a pedi and mani. So she goes and sit down to get her pedi, and the lady was kind and did a good job and then she moved on to another customer. While she was with another customer, my sister waited patiently, assuming that she was waiting for my sister’s toes to dry so that she can come back to do her mani, but that didn’t happen. We waited about 30 mins for her to tell us, «oh, I sorry, I thought you only want pedi.» My sister said«No, I specially asked for a pedi and mani.» So, the lady said ok, you have to wait another 35 mins before I can do it(rudely) because she had to help a new customer that came in. I felt bad for my sister because we already spent an hour + there. I didn’t understand why she couldn’t just help my sister first and get it done and over with so we could have left already. We just ended up leaving with my nails the way they were and my sister’s toes done. A returning customer? Nope.

Lana knows what she’s doing. This shop is hidden ’round the back of the shopping center, keep going past Tuesday Morning and Peppermill and you’ll find it. Prices are quite reasonable. I came in with nails all messy and crooked and grown out from another salon, and Lana ushered me right away over to her station where she painstakingly, carefully but quickly redid them. Nice nail rescue!

I think the ladies at Glamorous Nails are awesome and do a wonderful job. I have gone there a couple times to have Acrylic nails removed and manicure and they did a wonderful job. Today I went and got my first Pedicure along with a manicure and again it was wonderful. Being a crossdresser not all businesses treat you the same but they have always treated me with respect and like any other customer. I plan on going back regular. Thanks Susan

Seriously and totally downright disappointed. I came online 1 week ago just to research a good nail salon after having been to 3 other nail salons and being let down at every one of them. I have had really bad experiences every single time I go get a set of nails and decided I’d come on here and pick a place with seemingly good reviews near my home. I saw the review in here by someone who sounded educated and obviously very happy with the work they received, so I figured I’d go to Lana. Well, Lana was very friendly and so was her staff, but that’s where the good ended and the bad entered. Lana put 3 nails on crooked, did not clean up my nail beds or along side of my nails in order for the acrylic and glue to adhere. She applied the top coat in a rush which resulted in it spilling over onto my skin. The next day I had lifting on 7 different nails. She was closed the next day and so I could not get back in for repairs. By the time I was able to get in that lifting had turned to chipping. Just 2 days! My nails were a mess! I called her and told her what happened and she said she would fix it for free. Great! So I went back in and this time she quickly cleaned up my nails with her drill, but instead of reapplying acrylic she applied NAILGLUE to fill in the chipped and lifted spots she had buffed out. She rushed due to a customer that came in and was waiting for her. Since I was a freebie, she didn’t feel the need to take the time to repair my nails correctly. She slapped on more overcoats over the glue and sent me on my way. The next day, and after several hand washings, they have once again began to chip and looking as though I am in dire need of a fill. Hands down worst experience I have ever had. I will return to the mediocre salon I settled with from before in my old neighborhood. I will say that the shop was clean and the pedicure station always seemed busy, but for getting a set of nails from this establishment? I’d think twice.
