Before you read this review, I want to stress that I’m writing it as someone who is just being honest. I’m not bitter or writing a revenge-review. We were great tenants– we paid our rent on time, we didn’t make noise, we didn’t do anything illegal, break anything, or throw crazy parties. We took good care of the place and we were clean. With that said, I lived here for a year. As the other review mentioned– very thin walls(we heard our neighbors having sex and fighting constantly). Also, no cell service! Our apartment had wall-to-wall carpeting. After a year, the carpet was bound to get a little dirty, but we did our best to take care of it. When we moved out, it was in reasonable shape and the rest of the apartment was completely spotless. We made sure to clean everything very thoroughly. Nevertheless, when we got our security deposit back, they had deducted $ 65 to clean the carpet and ANOTHER $ 60 for«cleaning.» I know even the cleanest apartments are going to get a once over and a carpet cleaning ANYWAY before a new tenant moves in. I think if we clean it first and don’t leave any thing inside or break anything, we should get the FULL security deposit back. There were other problems as well. Our toilet never worked properly, even after they«fixed» it. The pipes in the building were very old and sometimes the water out of the tap would be a little brown. The kitchen is terribly designed– every time you open the oven, fridge, or dishwasher, it would completely block everything. The dishwasher loud, old, and didn’t work very well. Whenever we used the hot tub or the pool, management would come out to see what we were doing. We felt spied on and uncomfortable. As part of the lease everyone pays for basic cable in their rent check. I hated that because we didn’t even have a TV. When comcast raised their rates, everyone in the building had to pay more— even though we had a signed lease. It wasn’t much money, so it wasn’t worth fighting about, but when I read other reviews, I realized that it wasn’t the first time they’d done it, either.

I lived here for one year and it was a pretty great apartment complex. It has security doors, gym, pool, entertainment room w/Wi-fi, an area you can wash your car, laundry on-site which costs $ 1 for each washer and dryer. Nice apartments. includes marbled counter tops, stainless steel appliances, pantry, mirror closet doors, the patio is super long. It’s a convenient place to live. cedar hills it’s self is by everything… winco, shopping, hwy, restaurants, fast food chains(jimmy John’s can deliver here), gas stations.etc. Downs: The ground floor doesn’t catch phone service. You will have to get internet because your phone will require Wi-fi, which I wish they would of mentioned before we picked the ground floor. I’m sure it’s average for most apt. but the walls were very thin. We could hear everything our neighbors were talking about and it wasn’t by choice. Overall, the best apartments we’ve lived at by far. Had to move because of work but we’re thinking about possibly moving back.
