Went there with my friend and his girlfriend. It lived up to the hype and we definitely be going back whenever in the mood to go beast mode on some pretty good food.

I think this is the best Chinese food buffet in Beaverton. They have it all. A large selection to choice from. Pretty good for the money.

I’ve been there 3 times. Nice place if you want to eat fast and cheap. Yet once I saw a cucumber with mold at the salad bar which was really bad and disappointing, they took it away though.

Not worse not better. I don’t know just because I’m sensitive with food or their food’s quality is just bad, I got sick every single time I visit there(coincidence, maybe?) Got greeted nicely at the front door. Frankly, she was wearing pijama?!? Who wears pijama at work, especially at he restaurant where suppose to be professional. Palace can be very casual by not«that casual” — just my opinion. Anyway, she was nice to us which was a good thing. The food was eh. If I had to choose which one was the best, the honey walnut shrimps might be on the top. I agree that there are variety choices for everyone to eat, from sushi, Chinese to American but the qualities are very decent. Of course I would be back here though I get sick might be caused from their food but this place has a good price for buffet and is the closest buffet from my neighborhood. Oh did I mention that my waitress was standing right next to my table to wait for me leaving the tips and took it right a way?

I was at a Palace Buffet few times and the crab legs they seldom refill it. This time I waited for over an hour and saw nothing. I left. When I paid my bill I told the family who own the restaurant regarding this matter. They said next time I should ask the server for crab legs. So be it. This is not the proper way to run a buffet restaurant. Never going back. Big mistake.

I spit out five different items at this place. This is not food by any stretch of the imagination. I could try and be funny, cute, condescending, whatever; ultimately, no sane individual should ever choose to eat here. There is a better buffet with actual foodstuffs right across the street. Go there. (Even Mizumi — which I also gave one little piggy — is better than Buffet Palace.)

My family and I came to this place we had never been so we decided to check it’s out big mistake. First the lady at the front door did not look very friendly, then I went to the restroom and found that the floors where ethereal covered in water or body fluids. Second the food that is supposed to be cool was not cool at all it was warm. Third after trying the food most of it was lacking flavor. After we had gone to get some sweets and all that we found a hair in the jello we told our the managers and all they said was«sorry» and did not do anything about the jello. Would really recommend you go somewhere else for better food and service :)

My favorite buffet restaurant of all time, there’s an all you can eat sushi bar, which for 15 bucks is more than worth it, lunch is actually only 10 bucks I believe. Aside from the regular buffet area and sushi bar, there is also a section for fresh veggies meats and noodles you can get stir fried like at Mongolia grill. I’m pretty sure they will make udon for you as well but I usually stuff my face at the sushi bar until I can’t eat another bite of anything else. However I do miss the little streamed shrimp dumplings they used to have, not sure why it’s not there anymore :(. This is my go to place when I’m craving for a change in our weekly menu.

I’m biased against buffets to begin with, and I tend to believe that Chinese food in particular is not suited to buffet-style service, as fried and stir-fried dishes don’t tend to do well sitting out for any length of time. With that said, Buffet Palace is now pretty much the only game in town for those looking for a Chinese buffet in the Beaverton area, so it’s kind of hard to point out any alternatives if you’re looking for this particular style of establishment. Before I go on with my review, though, I have to say: if you want tasty Chinese food, go to a place where you can order off a menu. The food will taste better, I promise. Now, on to the review itself. Food: B– Some foods here are pretty good, such as the sashimi and Korean BBQ. The seafood is also decent. Others are pretty atrocious. The fruit, for example, is often watery and not terribly fresh. Some of the desserts are very obviously pre-made, so all the kitchen is doing is heating them up(case in point, the red bean-filled sesame balls), which is always disappointing to see. Service: B I never expect good service at buffets, and Buffet Palace is no exception to that rule. Cost: C I’m always surprised by how pricey this place is! Not really worth it, in my opinion, especially if you’re in for dinner.

Was pleasantly surprised by the variety of things they had to choose from! They have tons of different types of seafood, even a sushi station & crab legs! My favorite thing besides the sushi was a tempura honey shrimp, sooooo tasty I’d go back just for a plateful of that stuff! They also had sort of a Chang’s thing going on where you make a bowl of veggies, meats etcetera & they cook it right then! Didn’t have a chance try that, but their variety of choices looked phenomenal. I’d say the only negatives were that they had a lack of variety for desserts & also the staff wasn’t the most helpful. But I will definitely be going back!

Came here for early birthday lunch with the fam and the food was ok. My main reason for coming here was for the steam clam and crab legs!!!

It is Great here! Love this place! We came over twice during the time we stayed in Portland and both were very good … The food are very fresh and tasty. We all love the steamed fish and clam, Korean BBQ… The waitress from Shanghai is very nice and friendly. The waiter from ShanDong is very hardworking!

Saw the dinner price and never bothered to try, I know I would be disappointed with the quality for the price they charge. For lunch, it’s a solid deal for a lot of decent selections. Saw a good traffic for the times I have been there for weekday lunch, that’s usually somewhat of an assurance that food is fresh, cuz u know, things can get ugly fast when the food isn’t. Oh and not to mention the Chinese food choices taste semi-authentic, which is all I ask for from a buffet.

My second trip here and have to say it was worse this time. The server lost a customers credit card, she was looking around for this the whole time we were eating. We were almost done eating by the time we got our drinks. I had to actually get up three times for someone to get our drinks! How ridiculous! They give you this look like you’re crazy but they don’t give a shit! The crawfish were bad and tasted horrible. I think they were old because the meat was grey colored. We were there at 7pm so it wasn’t a weird time. Evening buffet is $ 15 per person. If anybody has a favorite buffet recommendation let me know!

Good option of food. Front desk employees(probably owners) extremely rude. I get it they don’t speak much English so they don’t say much, sure whatever… They are extremely unfriendly I should of just thrown their food away and left! I hate Asian services!(well most) –I am Asian so I am not racist–

One thing my mom and boyfriend have in common(aside from me) is pigging out at a buffet. It’s a pretty sweet thing to have in common, to be honest. My mom wanted to bring my family and boyfriend here to indulge. They offer a large array of Chinese food with some American food(fries is all I can remember for some reason), a small sushi bar(California rolls, unagi, octopus, tuna, and salmon nigiri), and lots of seafood(mackerel, crab legs, crawfish, mussels, and salmon). We went on a Friday night and it was $ 17.99 a head, not including drinks. And unlike Hometown Buffet, for example, you pay after eating instead of before. I mostly had my eyes on the sushi, and it was mediocre at best. Same with all the seafood I had. The crawfish were itty bitty and you had to eat like six of them in order to really taste anything. It’s definitely worth a try and you’ll for sure stuff yourselves full with a larger than normal sized buffet.
