Sara is amazing, I never really knew what to do with my brows because I’m so blond and my brows are very sparse. When I first went to see her I was very apprehensive, but she immediately put me at ease with her calm demeanor, I could tell she was extremely knowledgeable and that waxing is something she loves to do! Anyway, she gave me a great brow shape to work with, introduced me to brow powder and I never looked back. Definitely worth a visit if you want a good wax!

Okay everyone listen, because this is important:
Sara will make your brows look better than those little things ever dared to dream they could look. Seriously, I love my brows like (good) people love their children and until I went to Aureus I was a helicopter parent with a phobia of overly-​zealous waxers. However, Sara gets absolute free reign over all hair on my face because she is a beauty wizard. Not only does she have an impeccable eye for detail, but she has the ability to envision a perfect brow shape for your face, beyond what you may or may not already have.
Additionally, she is well and truly the most professional, accommodating, and lovely person you will ever meet. I have been to all the «brow» bars Portland has to offer, and the quality of service I receive every single time I see Sara is enough to make me never feel the need to try a new one again. Also, she is hilarious. To the point where I’m looking for new places to wax, and cursing my hairless back for its unwillingness to help, just so I can chat with her.
Without hesitation, I recommend Aureus for every beauty treatment it offers.
It is, quite simply, the best.

What can I say… Sara gives me life!
This was my third visit with Sara and I’m officially hooked. The space is quite comfy with music playing in the background while you’re relaxing.
I was referred to Aureus Lounge by a friend after seeing her lashes. I knew I had to get them done also. I have to say it was the best decision ever! My daily routine is cut in half since I really don’t need much makeup anymore. I was given a more natural look and at times I’m asked if they’re real. If people have to ask if they’re real, in my opinion, the work is great! You won’t regret it.
Side note: Hours are Sunday-​Tuesday 8am-​8pm, Wednesday 2pm-​8pm.
